A: slight haze; deep gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; little lacing;
S: vanilla with roasted grain in the background;
T: cream soda; moderate bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: as good as regular Dragon's Milk is, the bar was set pretty high for this; unfortunately, it fell short;

This is quite nice. Good blonde/white stout, nice golden color and white head. The barrel aged character isn't done and adds an extra roastiness to it that makes it difficult to tell this from any black and dark strong stout without seeing it. Definitely has some white chocolate notes here in a way, toffee, caramel latte, and lightly roasted malts. Pretty solid for a blonde stout, especially without any additional adjuncts.

12 oz. can. 6% ABV.
AROMA: Sweet with subtle scents of cream, vanilla, banana, and caramel. There is nothing overpowering in the aroma. So slow, light, inhalation is the only way to detect the various, mild scents. NOTE: The scents become a little more prevalent as the beer warms to room temperature.
APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy brownish-orange with a medium, tight, head that dissipates slowly and has almost no lacing. Looking at it, it kind of reminds me of a heffeweizen, except slightly-darker.
TASTE: It has kind of a soft bitterness with no sweetness at all. Which I found somewhat surprising given the sweetish aroma. While I wouldn't say it is a strong flavor, I do predominantly get, bourbon followed by vanilla and a hint of cocoa. Every now and then I get a hint of banana too, but not every time. So there is something that is tricking my taste buds.
MOUTHFEEL: Full-bodied with a smooth texture and a fair amount of carbonation.
OVERALL: A solid beer that is well-crafted with nice flavor, aroma, and body. I'm on the fence about the carbonation level, as I feel like a little less carbonation would make things better. But I can't really say for sure, that it would.

12 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Dark golden pour, skin of head. Light, roasty aroma, coffee. Taste starts off sweet, bready. Bourbon notes are light and come off as butterscotch. Creamy feel.

12 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
Canned 10/14/22
L: Cloudy amber, large antique-white head, foam is spongy with good retention and leaves sticky lace.
S: Weak nose, light bourbon barrel, fruity esters, dried white grape.
T: Tastes darker than it looks, bourbon barrel, dried fruit, toasted malt, mild bitterness, tangy woody hops, some spicy notes.
M: Medium body, smooth and creamy, low-ish carbonation.
O: Interesting kind of like a barrel aged Cream Ale, would drink a second if I had one.

Dragon's Milk White New Holland Brewing Stout White / Golden
Milky malt sweetness with creamy barrel wood style flavor's.. Super smooth and silky feel, a white stout is very interesting because you're constantly fooled by the color.. (what am I drinking?!!) Very easy drinking for 1:: a stout and 2: Barrel aged.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, medium orange/golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 9-10. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of coffee roast, bittersweet chocolate and cocoa. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong flavors of coffee roast, chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Some coffee roast, bitterness lingers. (3.75)
Feel: Medium-bodied, Moderate carbonation. Bitter finish. (3.75)
Compared to Whole Hog White Stout 1/2023: Pours darker, stronger head. Stronger aromas. More coffee roast. More bitter with coffee.
Overall: A decent white stout here. Lots of coffee roast actually which I didn't expect. Not as much vanilla or bourbon as other have mentioned. Roasty and drinks like a coffee stout to me, but slightly more flavors evolve as it warms. (Rating: 3.82)

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Dark golden yellow color with nice creamy white head that fades pretty fast. Decent lacing. The smell is a bit nondescript but there is come vanilla and a hint of bourbon. Taste of vanilla, apricot, and some coffee and cream. Satisfying feel.

Pours a golden orange color with a thin but retentive head.
Smells very yeasty and grainy.
Wow, tastes nothing like it smells.
Very vanilla flavor in the beginning that quickly fades into a coffee flavor. Not espresso but coffee. Through to the finish. Leaves no lacing.

From an Advent calendar. Canned July 21st 2022.
Pours a hazy amber with a good head of foam that shrinks rather quickly. Still, it has some pretty good lacing.
Smells of vanilla, light coffee, light nose from the barrel aging.
Vanilla and coffee are at the forefront, light Bourbon, pretty darn sweet, the finish has a decent burst of the Bourbon.
Light bodied, carbonation seems to low.
Not something that I would drink again.

Bought this beer at Bottle Craft in San Diego. 12 oz can, poured into a snifter. 2.99 for a single. Canned 11/30/21, consumed 10/25/22.
A&S: Looks like a hazy IPA, burnt orange-colored opaque beer with unfiltered chunks and carbonation. Head pours a half finger of white head that dissipates quickly. Smells like a sweet oatmeal stout. Nutty, sweet malts, raisins, and caramel.
T&M: Taste similar to the smell with some addition of some spice in the finish. Thick and chewy on the palate.
Overall: I enjoyed the concept of this beer. This doesn't happen often for me, but, in my mind, this beer is very comparable (outside of appearance) to Keweenaw Brewing Company's Widow Maker.

Poured a dark gold color with an inch or white foam head. Unlike other reviewers, I noted pleasant aroma of vanilla, chocolate, and some coffee. Taste followed the aroma with a mellow conclusion, no bitterness. Felt a bit creamy, on the cusp of a little too much for my liking, but didn't detract. Good beer to sip and would buy again.
