Served in a snifter at New Holland BC 5/24/08. Thanks to HeatherAnn for the assist!
A: Served a murky and dark, caramel-brown color. Very still. No head or lace.
S: Odd aromas of berries, chocolate, and spice.
T: Weird "red wine aged on oak" flavor that I found really off-putting. Tiny hint of roasted malt.
M: Pretty smooth with a peppery bite at the end.
D: Sadly, this was really pretty average.
