Citrus, slightly piney, doesn't stay on the front of the tongue long but a little longer on the back...
Good beer, refreshing for summer, doesn't have any characteristics that jump out.

A flagship hazy from New Holland, and at 5.9% right up my alley. However, I have a few complaints with this beer. First, the good: Looks the part, hazy yellow, big bubbly head. I also thought it drank with good juicy feel, bigger body than the abv indicates, to good effect. The bad: I just don't get a dynamic hop profile and this can is consumed at only 3 weeks old. Get a bit of orange juice, pairs well with the juicy feel, but otherwise, there's a range of indiscernible slightly off-flavors. Nothing crazy, but it's a roiling earthy warmth, scallion that somehow produces no bitterness. It adds up to a slightly underwhelming finish where the body falls out and there's no bite or bitterness to wrap it up. For the low abv and the price, I think this is a good value and a decent attempt, but the lack of hop presence and flavors, too sweet body, and disappointing finish, means this is only an ok style example. Still a NEIPA, no question, but if this is NEIPA, give me a good ole American IPA.

12oz can. Poured out a very cloudy, golden orange color with a large, fluff, off-white head of foam. It left some rings of lace. It smelled of citrus, melon, grapefruit and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with hints of melon, pine and toasted caramel.

A real crusher. Pleasantly surprised at New Holland's effort.
