Man I love this beer! First time trying it and I'm hooked! Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. Burnt orange with soapy lacing. Ultra flavorful and drinks lighter than its' 9% ABV. Medium finish with nutmeg, bourbon, and Chai. Highly recommended

Received from @BigIronH in the NBS BIF #16. I drank it during the BA online holiday beer tasting. Poured into a pint glass. It pours a slightly hazy, bright honey-amber with large, creamy, eggshell-colored cap and thin sheen of lacing. Its smell offers cinnamon and nutmeg, herbal notes, and the slightest whiff of bourbon. The taste is lovely: a fine base ale with creamy vanilla sweetness. The spicing is evident but delicate. Similarly, the barrel influence is enough to enhance the flavor and add a kick but not enough to distract. It finishes with a touch of spicy hop bitterness. The mouth feel creamy and velvety-smooth with low-moderate carbonation. The 9% ABV gives it lots of substance. Overall, this is a flavorful, drinkable, and thoroughly enjoyable Winter Warmer. I wish it were available here in New Jersey; it would be a seasonal favorite.

Copper colored with a quarter inch of tightly knit densely packed off white on top. Heavy, soapy lacing. The aroma is of chai tea and vanilla. I’m tasting chai tea, vanilla, bourbon, cinnamon, and lactose. The mouth is warm with spices and moderately carbonated.

Pours lovely amber color with 3 fingers of light brownish yellow froth. Lovely looking beer. Smell is chai, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon. Taste follows suit precisely with a very mild alcohol warming. As the beer warms a bit, the bourbon becomes apparent in the best way possible. Feel is full and creamy like eggnog at the Christmas party. Delicious. Loved every drop. Really hoping they bring this back this year.

Received from @whyteboar in Bif 12.5
Ale with milk sugar , nutmeg , vanilla extract , cinnamon and chai tea aged in bourbon barrels
Thin fizzy white layer over a translucent dark tea colored liquid with active stream of micro carbonation. Good retention settles to thin layer , good lacings
Aroma is nutmeg, cinnamon , spices , gingerbread cookies
Taste is spices, nutmeg , creamy vanilla , cinnamon with the burn , slight ginger taste without the heat
Good sudsing. Creamy mouthfeel , sweet , balanced the “hot” spices with the lactose well
Good winter warmer . Very Christmasy
