Wonky eye Belgian quad is rich and vaguely fruity with a kick of bready yeastiness and strong sour nose. Some sweet-tart and farmhouse sourness without being a saisson. Substantial alcohol burn. Solid Belgian quad, but forgettable.
Had the beer at the brewhouse in Holland and was interested to read the previous placeholder review: the beer was good and true to style, and my experience may be tainted by getting absolutely blown away -- totally impressed -- by Charkoota-Rye.

added due to a friend's experience there...and we couldn't find it on the website. I have not made it up there myself to try, but thought that others probably have...
Straight from the website.... :
Style: Belgian Quad
Description: This big Belgian has a medium body with hints of raisin, plum, toffee and a slight hint of clove. It is surprisingly smooth for a big beer and has a slightly dry finish. Be careful with this one or you might walk out with a “Wonky Eye”.
ABV- 9.5%
Original Gravity:21 °P
