New Holland says this is made with "Jack's Blend" coffee from JP's across the street in downtown Holland. Taste is for sure loads of coffee with a spicy character that makes me expect the burn of chiles, which never comes. Very black. Hard to separate the burnt malt from the black roast coffee beans. At 66 IBU, it's quite bitter, and again it might be the bitter beans on top of the hops. Light body with coarse carbonation on the tongue. Very aromatic. An oddity, but interesting. For drinkability, though, it ends up tasting like a cold cup of yesterdays scorched coffee.
