Another ESB from New Holland, had on draught at the brewery.
This pours with an auburn amber hue just a few shades darker than New Holland’s Original Bitter. There’s thin foam on it with light aroma. Light, light aroma, only the faintest hints of orange hop notes. The flavor is hop bittering up front followed by some sweetness and some light roasted malt. It’s a good expression of an ESB and I would love to try it on cask some time.
