Appearance: served with a dense head of about a finger. Creamy lacing on the sides of the glass while drinking. Murky brownish orange color to this brew. Average to low carbonation active.
Smell: pretty subdued overall. A light buttery dough aroma hits on the front. There is a slight honey sweetness in the body. Creamy malt throughout.
Taste: a very easy going cask ale. The front is a distinctive Belgian yeast and light fruit feeling. The body is subdued but has a very solid malty texture. The finish is a medium darkness which sticks on the palate for a long time.
Mouth feel: heavier then I expected. Strong malt and Belgian yeast texture.
Overall: like most of new Hollands beers, very solid. Good balance throughout but nothing overly memorable.
