A 275ml clear glass bottle with a BB of Nov 2012. Picked up from a B&M store a little while back. Chick beer - lovely...
Poured into a straight pint glass. A clear pale pink colour, similar to a rosé wine. Low carbonation and some light floating sediment. A hard pour results in a huge head of pink-tinged foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a surface layer. Aroma of sweet strawberry mixed with mild skunky lager. Faint stewed leaves and a stale note in the background. Unpleasant.
Tastes of weak lager with sweet fruit overtones. Strawberry, sugar, faint stewed leaves and a twinge of skunkiness. Watery and sweet on the finish, like some sort of soda for kiddies. Mouthfeel is thin; almost like mineral water. Dry and mildly spritzy. Aftertaste of sweet strawberry and a faint staleness.
Blech - this is disgusting. Perhaps the worst excuse for beer that I've come across. Ultra light, sweet, fruity...it can't make it's mind up. The stale, skunky undertones don't do it any favours. It's supposedly aimed at women, though it seems more like an alcopop substitute for people with a sweet tooth (and zero taste). Vile - steer clear!

My 'Dodgy Lager tasting evening' of 28 Sept 2012 took a sinister turn when my Son-in-Law turned up and wanted to play: luckily I had two 275cl bottles of this in the fridge and so my evening became a 'random beer tasting evening' as we devoured a few of my stash in the name of rating/reviewing.
This is a sweet alcopop sort of beverage and may well be ideal for youngsters and sweet toothed ladies but otherwise give it a miss (or to a miss).
Blush red in colour with a stawberry nose and flavour, Fruli came to mind: a cheap version maybe but simular in most details.
Not my cup of tea and my scores are kind.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
