Poured from a 32oz growler filled a few minutes ago at St Cambrinus into a stemless wineglass.
4/3.75/4/3.75/4.25
A: Two fingers of frothy white head. Hazy golden-orange.
S: Piney hops. Hint of citrus. Some wheat and yeast.
T/M: Tasty! Light and somewhat buttery. A bit like popcorn. I wonder if there are corn flakes in here. At any rate, the yeast is dry, Frenchy, and ever so lightly funky. Lots of citrus zest in the hops, and a fair amount of bitterness. An interesting, engaging pale ale. The finish is mild and lightly coppery-biscuity.
O: Not an obviously champion, but light and zesty and drinkable all while being worthy of closer scrutiny. I hope to see more beers of this style!

Pours a hazy light golden, creamy lace that dies down towards the end. Aroma is fruity; citrus, pear, bannana and some tropical fruit. Also floral and with a hint of biscuity malt. Fruity taste, mostly alcohol, soaked pear, floral, yeasty, peppery and hoppy. The finish has a slight mineral water feel. This one feels more like a saison. Not the best of it's kind, but solid.
