From 05/20/15 notes. 16oz pour in a pint glass for $8 at Barcade St. Mark's in NYC.
Pours a hazy burnt orange color with one inch of bright white head and low carbonation evident. Grapefruit, citrus hops, lemons, drank pine hops, resin, fruity malts, and soap. Light to medium body and low carbonation, little lighter than I'd like, in a watery way.
Overall an ok beer but nowhere near their best. Would much rather try their other IPA's.

The beer offers grass, lemon, orange peel, as well as some piney bitterness. There's a medium plus bitter finish with some dankness.
The intensity of the dankness is reminiscent of Heady, possibly from the use of Apollo.

Very subtle beer. Grassy and grapefruit notes.
