Raw, Juicy, Expressive, Joy

A juicy ménage à trois of citrus, pine, and a mild hemp-like hoppiness. While it is nearly completely hazed over—but not a milkshake—Street Green finds that happy medium and bursts with juicy flavor. Bitterness doesn’t get passed over though. It's a palate changer and part of the East Coast IPA movement, and I can stand by beers like this for sure. While any true hophead will lap this brew up on name alone, it is worth taking damn seriously as the brewers intention to make a flat out beautiful IPA is clearly experienced from sip to sip. Had this back in November from a growler. Pours a nice hazy orange. Citrusy juicy aroma, taste follows with some nice lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is dead on - super crushable. Probably the best beer from OH that I've had.

This is INCREDIBLE, canned 6 weeks ago, but my god is it exploding with that north east new age hop. Hazy in appearance, but beautiful dry hop flavor with very mild bittering hops. absolutely incredible that its this good 6/7 weeks later

This is a really good IPA though a little hoppier than I prefer. The hops and the bitterness hit you at once with a citrus undercurrent as well. I have heard others mention grapefruit and I can definitely see that. All together it's really good though I would probably not trade for it again.

Pours a cloudy light caramel color with a nice white foam.
Nice big hoppy nose, I get a tone of piney pinesol (in a nice way), resin, lemon pledge, a lot of good stuff going on.
Medium body, smooth mouth feel, I am digging the carbonation level.
First mouthful a huge wack of hoppy bitterness. Chicory? Mega grapefruit. This beer really highlights the bitterness of the fruit as opposed to the fruitiness of the fruit, like say a Grapefruit Sculpin (which I enjoyed more).
A solid but not trancendant effort.

Well, this is the Other Half brew that made NY lose its collective mind. Poured from the can into a snifter, it looks like pineapple juice with some foam. Smell is pretty close to that. This is all pineapple, cantaloupe, and grapefruit. Tasty follows suit, though the juiciness is tempered with a resiny edge and a little biscuit. Heavy water consistency; easy drinking. This is a wonderful IPA, good as anything I've had from Alpine, Hill Farmstead or Lawsons. But I could say the same thing of several other (more easily attainable) OH offerings. It's nice to try something with a Trillium influence, but it's not ruining me for other IPAs.

Got a 16 oz. can in a trade.
Poured into my DFH IPA glass.
A - Pours very hazy, a pale orange with 2 fingers of head. Leaves some nice lacing on the glass.
S - The aroma is grapefruit and hops.
T - The flavor citrusy, floral, and the lingering flavor is grapefruit.
M - Medium mouth feel and carbonation.
O - This is an excellent IPA. I hope to get my hands on more of this!

Had out of a growler on thanksgiving eve with some friends at NEBCO. Pours a very very hazy golden color. Great smell, great taste, great build, great finish. I hope other half makes this again!

Poured into a Teku glass. Soon as you crack the can you can smell this thing. Looks juicy as can be, a whole lot like most Trillium ales. Smells amazing. Piney, dank, resin up front with hints of tropical fruits in the back. Papaya, pineapple, grapefruit. But overall, dank stuff. Tastes great, although the nose is more impressive. Late bitterness that most OH beers have on this one. Outstanding IPA. A true collab that captivates what both breweries do with hoppy stuff.

Poured from growler filled same day direct from brewery into a tulip glass. Pours a cloudy light orange dirty yellow color with a thin white head that disappeared quickly. Smell is total citrus floral hops, it may smell better than it tastes. The taste is hop forward with grapefruit, kiwi hints, juice bomb upfront with floral hints on the finish, not bitter at all with no bite but still delicious. Made me think of Flower Power. Mouth feel is light with slight carbonation, would like more of a head that lasts, probably the beers only fault. Overall, it's an epic collabo between 2 killer breweries that worked to created a special brew.

This seems like a legitimate 50:50 beer collaboration. Trillium contributes its tasty, tropical hops bomb IPA components and Other Half adds the metallic city water to the mix.

Overall, a really nice beer, though I wonder how much better this beer would have been without the other half of the collaborators present.

Pours typical to ne style ipa, super cloudy and hazy, looks fantastic. The nose is the weak link here, albeit a very strong weak link. Nice floral dankness punches you in the face, detectable amounts of Galaxy. Nice citrus hit on the first sip, with slight tropical flavors before and orange and grapefruit body fades into a grapefruit finish. Delicious. The mouthfeel is heavenly, like your drinking a velvety cloud. Love the mouthfeel of this.

Pours the typical beautiful new england style pale. The nose is a bit muted, mostly floral hops, dankness, and slight tropical fruits. Taste is all dank floral happiness, not really detecting much more than that. Mouthfeel is incredible, it has that soft carbonation from a lot of east coast pale beers that just flows across the tongue. Finish is dry for progressively bitter on the back end. Overall I enjoyed this beer, even though its not a session I found myself just chugging this and wanting another!

On-tap at Gold Star in Brooklyn. It's a rich hazy hop bomb like you'd expect from both Trillium and Other Half. The body really dries out and the bitterness just creeps up on you, it's a very cool feeling. Big peachy flavors up front with dry strawberries and grapefruit. Another winner. Damn tasty.

From 11/13/15 notes. Had a couple pours of this at Pony Bar UES in NYC.

Pours a murky, medium orange color with one inch of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident. Looks awesome, like fruit juice. Resin, pine, bitter grapefruit, citrus hops, lightly tropics notes. Medium body and low to moderate carbonation with a medium bitterness.

Overall a very good beer; if you like bitter hops in the taste you'll love this. I liked it the more of it I drank, though I still prefer Green Street to this. A great DIPA though.

L: glows gold, a touch of peachy yellow-rose, Sunlight filtered through trees in southern autumn.

S: fruit, fruit, and more fruit. Mango, peach, a touch of vegetal/herbaciousness.

T: what the what. I mean this is Biggie Smalls mating with Outkast, giving birth to Radiohead who then married Neil Young, had a fling with Blonde on Blonde era Dylan, somehow giving birth to both of their babies in one, at which point that baby made poetic love to Walt Whitman and Allen Ginsberg's child--and that lovable creature, friends, gave birth to an orange.

F: milky, luscious, creamy, perfectly carbonated. Light and airy somehow.

O: imma let you finish, but OH + Trillium just made (one of) the best beer of all damn time.

Such a shame....., If they used anything other than equinox in the mix this beer could have been perfection. The entire crop of equinox should be burned and and forgotten.

The beer comes in a hazy medium gold, orange color.

The aroma is tangerine dream for days, fuzzy peach, orange zest, chemically dankness on the back end. Intense tropical and bright citrus notes.

The flavor follows with Juicy Fruit, peachy and mango candy/gum flavors up front, doughy malts. In general, the beer is covered with Equinox. Bitter vegetal flavors, very much reminiscent of Grimm Pulse Wave. The finish is dry with lingering spearmint and green flavors. A great collaboration between Trillium and Other Half, with each brewery showcasing notes of themselves.

Pours hazy orange with a two finger head. Smell is of ripe citrus, citra hops. Taste is crisp - sharp hops, juicy citrus with a bitter punch. Really encapsulates all the flavors an IPA should have. Great flavor, excellent hop character and a pleasant wave of delicious citrus. This is really an excellent collaboration, and I'm looking forward to more whenever I should get the chance.

World class imperial ipa, nose of resiny dankness layered with tropical fruits, pineapple, mango and stone fruit. Cloudy haze color, typical of trillium apparently. This is just phenomenal. Crushes anything I can get locally in MD or DC. Sorry about your line troubles, but you bring it on yourself when you name a beer Street Green that is unbelievableably hop forward. Long live Other Half.

Look - Signature Trillium look. Turbid/hazy, beautiful orange color. Looks like juice in the glass
Smell - Phenomenal nose! Pineapples, mangos, dankness, some citrus and grapefruit
Taste - Super dank, grapefruit, grapefruit pith, weed, citrus, citrus peel, some tropical fruits
Feel - Not quite that creamy Trillium mouthfeel but nothing to complain about. Medium body, insanely crushable for 7%.

Overall - A wonderful colab from two of the top IPA producing breweries in the world.

Smell tropical fruit mango ripe pineapple.
Taste sweet malty start, bread, fruit. Transition to citrus hoppiness and dryer bitter finish.
Smooth mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
