Not sure if this is a new batch, or if this has been stored/aged for the past 5 years of so.
Anyway this is a mid sized bottle, purchased at the Domino Park outpost this afternoon.
Pours out initially with an explosive and unruly cap, adjustments are made and later pours find a happy medium....fully hazed, under a moderate cap, leaving a full ring of lacing and thicker froth on the glass.
Earth, pepper and light funk on the sniff, following thru onto the palate...again roughly peppery, more earthiness, more lime infused funk....Brett fermentation... I love it, miss it and def dont get enough of it....

If you're like me, you want a do-over from last year's election. I'd easily nominate this beer over either candidate that ran last year only because I don't have any regrets after drinking this. Sure, it's full of Mosaic as the Brett took a back seat to it but overall, this was a nice beer that was easy to quaff given the relatively low amount of alcohol in it...
Not a bad look to this beer as it looked like blueberry juice with a sufficient head on top of it. Tons of soapy lacing was left behind as the aroma was full of Mosaic - dank, chalky, and full of fruity berry. All of those were in the taste though the Brett made things interesting as a dry, wild undertone could be found here once the initial slickness faded away. A light melon lingered throughout along with white cheddar-like dryness and chalkiness but the hops dominate here. Not that it was strong, but they just lasted throughout each sip and ultimately, my session.
This wasn't strong and that was a plus as this beer was quite easy to polish off by myself in one siting. The name's nice given everything that's transpired in recent months but thankfully, what was underneath was just as refreshing. Time to make some buttons based on the ones depicted on this label and to get the word out - this deserves a nomination for a higher office!

16.9oz bottle from Other Half. Pours a clear pale yellow with an inch of small bubbly head. The aroma is fruity and funky. Tangerine, blueberries, lemon, melon, peach sweet bread and some musty basement. The taste is the fruity Mosaic hops followed up by the musty flavor of the Brett. Nice blend of blueberries, tangerine, peach, and melon combined with the funk. Melon finish with light notes of bread. Light mouthfeel but lots of carbonation. Mild alcohol presence. Worth seeking out.

my buddy rob snagged me a growler of this last weekend at the cam release. enjoyed from a Willie becher. love the mosaic hop and the Brett gives it a crispness. it is a really nice compliment to the brew but i prefer a non Brett tratment for when I her half brews with this fantastic hop.
