Tall can 12/21/17

Pours out a very typical looking NEIPA, clouded, squash in color, nice looking tiny bubble head, lacing etc.

Sniff reveals kinda muted ripe pineapple

On the palate its waves of tropical fruits with again pineapple coming forward

All in all this one is another winner from OH, fresh n flavorful with over the top juicy/fruity/tropical qualities. Go get some,

Picked this up when it was released at Other Half and finally got around to it on this windy night. The two-hop beers that I've had from them thus far have been solid but without a doubt, this was my favorite one. as both of these worked so beautifully together. The end result was a smooth, crushable juice bomb that hid the alcohol well while being just nuanced enough to stand out from the pack!

This beer had a pleasing pour to it as the murky apricot hue, steadfastly tall head, and spotty waves of lacing all combined for a pleasing appearance. Loads of grass, orange juice, candied sugar, and apricot in the understated nose but once I took my first sip, wham! That's where this beer took off and dragged me along for the ride. The jam-like sweetness, grassy freshness, and early dankness all competed for my taste buds attention but the beauty of this beer was that in spite of all of this chaos, that were no losers in the end. Everything meshed well together and with a onion and garlic-like undertone and aftertaste to this and light carbonation, this was a winner from start to finish.

The alcohol couldn't be detected in the aroma and only lent itself to a slight warming effect but it was here and was able to hold it's own with everything else going on here. It's not often that beers sneak up me and turn out to be a big surprise but this one did that - even by Other Half's lofty standards that they've set. Loved everything about this and how the brewmasters combined these hops but a better end result than either could of those could have accomplished on their own. Fun stuff that deserves a higher rating on here!

snagged some cans yesterday evening in the brewpub. canned 2 days ago "throw some mo"

super juicy looking murky yellow with massive frothy chunks of lace. nose is extremely juicy hops w that unmistakable other half shine. highlight is the taste. mosaic is really well defined and the motueka adds a nice compliment. this beer is extremely impressive and as good if not better than the single hop mosaic. this is definitely one of the best other half brews I have had. they were always good but lately seem even better than ever.

Picked up yesterday from the brewery. Drank out of my OH TEKU #PGG. Medum light golden color with a full haze and bright white head. Huge stone fruit aroma from the moment I cracked the can. Big peach and apricot on the nose along with a clean chive/green onion note. Aroma translates to the palate. Relatively low sweetness subdues the fruitiness and enhances the chives. Finishes with a clean medium bitterness. Near perfect medium creamy mouthfeel with a dry finish which makes the beer extremely drinkable for 8.5%. One of my top 5 OH beers. 97 points!

Poured from a can gotten via trade from @crowlcrowlcrowl, thanks again!

L: A lighter golden color that is somewhat hazy but not cloudy. Full lasting glass lacing.

S: Super tropical with mango, peach, pineapple and some grassy earthy tones.

T: The tropical fruit jumps out with huge notes of mango, pineapple, pear, peach and some grassy flavors. Sweetness is caramel like but it does not overtake the massive hops. As the beer warms I get some of the grape flavor and a decent amount of alochol. Finish has some prickly pine bitterness and ends up dry.

F: Full, coating, dry finish, nice carbonation and a decent amount of alcohol.

O: Another really good beer from OH but not one of their standouts if you ask me. I enjoyed it and would drink it again for sure, but I've had some of their other beers that blew me away and this one for me was just "pretty good". Scary when pretty good does not cut it, right? Still I love this brewery.

pours a almost completely clear orange, nice puffy head that laces as it goes. smell is of sweet tangerine candy, grass, and a little bit of caramel. taste is heavy on the mosaic (my favorite) so lots of tangerine and grass, then the grassy note gets even heavier when the motueka hops break passed the big mosaic kick. little bit of caramel on the backend, but it honestly just blends with the mosaic taste. no booze apparent, good mouthfeel for a DIPA, another great brew from OH. I missed them, havent been there in a while until this weekend.

32oz growler from Noble Grains NYC UES
Light and clear clementine orange/yellow, white head that dissipates and clings to the rim, smell is tropical, fruity jam, and pine, taste is mango, peach and a nice bready malt sweetness, creamy carbonation and sticky citrusy bitter finish. A bright, refreshing treat from Other Half, perfect for a sunny weekend in Spring!

gold star beer counter -> growler -> tulip

L - light yellow, slight haze, head fades quickly

S - almost no malt, fruity, specifically that guava smell from the motueka

T - again very little malt, a slight sweetness, pear, guava, white grape, then a dry finish, not very bitter but the bitterness lingers

F - light bodied, medium carbonation, slight alcohol burn, clean

O - really nice, but earlier today I had their double mosaic and honestly liked that one better, though this one is more complex

huge thanks to my man rob for the goandpickitupformebro growler fill at the can release yesterday, much appreciated. enjoyed an iceman pour in the new Nordic pint.

really tasty brew. definitely jumps to the favorites list. this brew has all the juicy magic of mosaic single with a thick layer of dense juicy hop layered on top. super balanced and a flavor monster. great full bodied feel that goes down in gulps. soft bitter after trails. mmmm mmmm mmm. keep this one around!!!!
