Great mouthfeel to compliment the hop bouquet, fresh out of the can is the way to go on this one.

Picked this up at the brewery, with a date of 7/29 on the bottom of the can. That had "Become Excited" written below it and although this beer didn't excite me, it was very enjoyable and one of the most "textbook" examples of what Other Half's putting out right now, from start to finish.
This had a good pour to it as the dankness really showed through in the hue. That was a shade of melon and was appropriate given that that was the predominant flavor in the taste and nose. The head was sufficient enough but not too long-lasting and that could also be said for the lacing as it wasn't thick and slid down a bit as I worked my way through this. Apricot, tropical fruits, and dankness up front as they faded into a bitter red grapefruit in the back. Tangy and boozy, this had a dry finish without a lot of carbonation, bitter hops, or malt to get in the way as this had the feel of a typical IPA from this neck of the woods. Some botanical spice and herbal notes quietly came through in the back once the stone fruit flavors faded away as the dankness lasted throughout my drinking session.
This had enough alcohol in it but thankfully, it wasn't enough to overpower everything else. On part with the offerings from Tree House and Trillium, this was a strong brew with enough resin in the mouthfeel from coming across as too heavy. Could have aged a bit better as this felt like a Finback brew when it came to the floaties present in the taste and appearance. Nevertheless, a solid beer that put the "!" into my drinking session!

I got this via trade with @crowlcrowlcrowl, thanks! Poured from a can into a tulip glass.
L: Super hazy medium gold color with tons of little floaties. One finger white fluffy head left minimal glass lacing.
S: Loads of fruit with pineapple, grapefruit and peach, some dank weed, floral, grassy, nice.
T: The fruit comes out up front with the pineapple, melon, red grapefruit, peach and lemon. There is some slight danker flavors of weed and some pepper but no pine. Slightly grassy and floral that mix with the biscuit malt but it's far from sweet. The finish is creamy but dry and zero bitterness. Others talk of the extreme bitterness, I got none of that at all. Alcohol pokes through when warmer.
F: Creamy, smooth, coating, dry and some alcohol.
O: I really liked this beer, not overly complex but very enjoyable. So far the 2 Other Half beers I have tasted have been awesome. I have a bunch more to try and can't wait.

A- A very hazy pour from a tall can into a tulip. Rising off the body is a thick, creamy white head reaching about an inch high with good retention. Massive pillows of lace at the top and extensive webs down below.
S- Dank! hops are the most electric part of the aroma with tropical fruits, citrus and floral notes all following. Bright with notes of tangerine, pineapple, smooth grapefruit, a touch of passionfruit and weed.
T- As anyone would expect, the hops are dominant again as they were in the aroma with a mix of dank herbs and semi-sweet juicy fruits in the spotlight. Apricot, mango, melon and cantaloupe lead into tangerine, bitter ruby red grapefruit, oranges, spicy herbs, grass, floral and resinous notes. The tropical aspect gains some ground here. A touch of pale barley and sweetness but not much at all.
MF- Silky and puffy medium body. Comes off a bit oily and even a tad warm in the finish along with the sharp bitterness. Foamy medium-high carbonation.
A unique blend of hops leads to a delicious and unique, bold profile of tropical, citrus and herbal flavors. Keep it up there in that awesome little corner of Brooklyn.

16 oz. can. Clear yellow body. Smells of melon, sweet pilsner maltiness, kinda fruity. Tastes very sweet. Fruity with some melon and tropical fruit. Low bitterness, but boozy and a little astringent. Heavy and sweet. Starts off nice when it's cold, but it's sluggish and sweet and warms up. When it warms it's not as pleasant.

Poured into a Wicked Weed snifter. Bottom of can says 07/29/16.
A- Pours a hazy medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of surface foam. Semi-resilient cobweb pattern of lacing.
S- Big jolt of dank and juicy hops with a bit of spicy character as well. Smells very green with a slight booze fume.
T- A bit dryer than expected with some stone fruit notes of apricot as well as citrusy grapefruit and lemon. Malt is there but takes a backseat to the hop flavors and assertive bitterness. Very smooth for the ABV.
M- Sharp from the hops and a bit oily too with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.
O- A tad bit dryer than where I like it, but all the good qualities are there: solid bitterness, vibrant hop character, drinkability. Very good.
