Modest appearance for an IPA with your standard amber color with a small white head, but the aroma and flavor are anything but modest. Huge notes of tropical and citrus fruit leap out of the glass. Pineapple and orange for the most part. I was content just smelling it for a good minute or two before taking a sip. The flavor is balanced towards the hops of course, but finishes more juicy than bitter. Medium bodied and way too drinkable for an Imperial IPA. No hint of the over 8% ABV. Dangerous stuff!
