Can dated 8/10/17 (10 weeks old)

Pours a very cloudy and bright gold color with a 2 finger sudsy head that fizzles down in a few minutes to a film with chunky lacing.

Aroma is citrus peel with a sharp, almost spicy tang to it on the pour. This sharpness dies down to a very pleasant sweet orange scent. Really nice.

Oh the taste is so crisp and full of orange flavor with a little pineapple behind it. Wow they did a great job of hopping this one. Clean finish with a bit of seltzer to tingle the tongue. No alcohol burn (at least while cold).

Feel is unsticky, just really crisp and light and refreshing. Very low bitterness and not much malt coming through at all - which is what gives it that aetheral quality.

Hmm... I may need to revise my top DIPA list now. This just knocked my socks off.

-cloudy yellow-tan rap pour with a bubblegum-grapefruit nose and 1 cm of fluff atop. The flavor grapefruit with moderate hop bitterness and a persistent sweetness. The finish is a tad hot.

Can to tulip, the appearance was hazy/cloudy burnt orange almost copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that left some light stringy lace after dissipation. The aroma had some ruby red grapefruit pulp and rind, sweet to bitter, light lemon juice, sly bit of sweet pine, light black cherries, apricots and a zesty sort of sticky fresh papaya blend at the end. The flavor was juicy sweet with the bitterness embracing the backbone very well. And steadily lead into the aftertaste to ride nicely into the finish. The palate was medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt as projected. Overall, pretty nice DIPA. I’d have that again!

On tap at Mama Lor's Cafe in Webster, NY.

This one pours a hazy golden peachy orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like apricot, grapefruit, peach- just super fruity and tropical.

I love this hop combo- two of my absolute favorite new wave hops. There's lots of stone fruit and grapefruit, with a solid grassiness on the finish. There's not really any of the lime flavor I usually associate with Motueka hops. There's not a ton of bitterness, just the aforementioned grassy finish.

This is medium bodied, crisp and very clean, with a normal level of carbonation.

This is a great IPA from guys who definitely know how to make a great IPA.

On tap at Haymaker. From notes. Reviewed 17 January 2017.

Unfiltered, yellow brown.
Citrusy hops.
One of the juiciest and most crazy hoppy-bitter beers. Tons of apricot, then it dries straight up. Really fruity in a very stonefruit way. Floral-earthy finish.
Probably my favorite DIPA of the night. Very highly recommended.
