Pours a hazy super bright yellow. Not much of a nose. Bland up front, followed by gummy bear notes and some herbal vegetal character on the finish.
Pretty boring overall and the flavor profile doesn't really work for me. Not a big fan.

Traded for this as I couldn't make the midweek release when this was dropped. Was quite surprised to see that this was an American Pale Ale as it almost felt like a lager to me. The hops were here but this had a light hue and taste to it and finished somewhat crisp, as well. It's not that the hops didn't work well together but that their profile just left a bit to be desired...
The pour to this was light - in hue, consistency, and in heft. Been a long time since I saw a head retreat so quickly, with the sound of loud sea foam filling up the room. Very little foam was left once that settled down and there was hardly any lacing left on the side of my teku glass as well. The nose was subdued and odd - was that cabbage I felt in it? Melon? Yeast? Vegetal hops? Dankness? I couldn't tell as this came across a bit sour to the nose and was even more like that to the taste. Lots of melon stood out but that seems to be so common in beers these days that it needed something secondary to complement it. It wasn't here - not even after the last sip went down and the honeydew-like slickness remained on my palate.
Was there booze in it? The amount would indicate barely but this felt stronger than it was in actuality. I kept waiting for something to kick in and elevate this but alas, the was a one-and-done beer. .Nothing on the bottom of the can and not as much in it as I hoped for - this might be Other Half's version of a "lawnmower beer"...

Really don't get the hate on this. For the low ABV it's remarkably aromatic and the light body is perfect for heatwave temps. Huell Melon isn't a hop that twists a lot of neckbeard nipples, but it's got a great minerally white wine nose with some slightly funky papaya. Dig this.

can from that midweek drop not too long ago. this one is not really my bag. a really soft pale yellow married with a muted malt heavy nose and a flavor that carries some crisp melon but not much else.
