This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a thin cap of a valley-ed white little head. Thin moderate lacing glosses the sides nicely. The aroma, well, do you like Sprite, because I do, yes, this smells a lot like Sprite, but don’t let that fool you. It’s very authentic in the lime peel and pulp, sweet with a spritzy bitter. The flavor takes all of the previously mentioned aromas to sweetly spritz the flavor while maintaining a good "IPA-ish"/beer-like taste to it. Semi-sticky lime/lemon aftertaste. Spritzy sweet lime finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable beer-like feel to it. Good amount of carbonation. Overall, so Other Half along with RAR takes a DIPA and turns it into Sprite and then turns it back to beer leaving the aroma and enough flavor to be reminiscent of Sprite. Somehow, in the entirety of it all, it’s still a beer, with DIPA qualities coming out.

Picked this up when it was released at the brewery, having never had this before. As much as I love Other Half's offerings, this one was not quite like them. That turned out to be a mixed bag since this wasn't a dank hop-bomb but the lemon and lime took a bit of getting used to as the zest wasn't like anything that I ever had before!

The pour to this beer was good as it had quite the dank appearance despite what the taste was like. It had a nice, hazy apricot hue, plenty of head, and a moderate amount of spotty lacing around the middle of my glass. Lots of lemon, lime, citrus zest, and lemondrop hops in the nose; as this was probably the first time I ever had a beer with that bittering agent in them. Many compared this to Pine Sol or Lemon Pledge but it almost seemed like a Thai dish that was fermented and turned into liquid, as there were strong hints of lemongrass and ginger-like crispness here as well. A relatively light body and low amount of carbonation helped keep this easygoing but a few more bubbles would have been welcome, just to keep the scrub the flavors a bit.

There was a decent amount of alcohol here and without a date of the can, this still held up well for being a few months old. While not sure to please everyone, it was refreshing to have this and see how Other Half occasionally steps out of their comfort zone. A fun beer that grew on me as I worked my way through it, that would pair well with many East and South Asian dishes!

Had a 16oz can poured into a snifter. Very hazy look typical of some really nice New England DIPAs...looks beautiful. Strong lemon/lime scent on the nose. I wasn't sure what to expect with the taste. Taste hits you with massive lemon, lime and citrus with typical IPA bitterness at the end. Not something I could drink more than one of in a sitting but glad I was able to give this a try. Kudos to OH/RAR for pulling off a really interesting beer here!

Can poured into flute.

Hazy, orange/red color. Foamy white head.

Aroma of lemon/lime zest is most noticeable. Bit of citrus and grassy hops.

Got to think this is what lemon pledge tastes like, but in the best way possible. It is strange, but not unpleasant. The zest mixes well with the hop selection.

Moderate carbonation and medium bodied. Crisp.

A different brew. Citrus zest is present and brings the citrus hop flavors forward. I'm glad I tried it but wouldn't want to drink multiples at one sitting.

16 oz can poured into a teku

A- A hazy golden orange/copper with a two finger white head.

S- Lemon and lime zest, some grapefruit and tropical fruits, slightly piney. This is all about the citrus zest!

T- Lemon and lime zest is much more mild than the nose, grapefruit, hints of tropical fruits, slightly dank/piney, hints of a sweet malt backbone.

M- Smooth, medium body.

O- A tasty beer, but just wish the lemon and lime zest shined through more in the taste. A solid collaboration between OH and RAR, just was hoping for a slightly more vibrant IPA in this collaboration.

Cloudy/hazy peach colored body with a thick, frothy pale tan head. Only a hint of light comes through the hazy body. Aroma is big and citrusy; lemon and lime aroma zip through along with hints of tropical fruits and a hint of bread. Big, noticeable lemon and lime up front along with tons of grassy notes. The middle allows some of the sweet bready malt to come through, almost like a lemon cake. Finish is zesty citrus and some hoppy bitterness. The feel is smooth, medium carbonation, pretty easy drinking for the abv. Overall a nice DIPA that showcases the ingredients nicely.
