Pours a peachy orange golden. Citrusy forward aroma. It's super galaxy forward, lots of halo clementine, but a lot more softer than I remember from several years ago. It's not at all abrasive, only a touch of peanut shell character on the finish.

A pale straw cloud thick and consistent much like the head. Smells of citrus, more orange than others, mild notes of grapefruit. Has an interesting sweetness that stays on the tongue, reminds me of white grape. Finishes cleanly, dry, and crisp.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Thick opaque medium golden pour with big fluffy white head. Lasts forever... great lacing.

S: Dank and citrusy. Loads of grapefruit, mango, and tropicals.

T.F: Just like it smells. Loads of grapefruit/citrus. Tangerine, rind, mango, peach, and tropical fruit. Modest bitterness. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Light spice. Medium bodied.

O: A nice ode to Galaxy Hops. Great flavor/drinkability... a top tier hazy DIPA.

Pale straw haze with a good amount of head. Dank tropical fruit aroma. Taste follows, tropical fruits (also melon) with a restrained bitterness. Pretty sweet. Good taste but not top of the heap for OH. Excellent full mouthfeel.

16 oz pint glass pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a creamy off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature citrus and tropical fruit with soft hop bitterness against a soft malt background. Mouthfeel is full, smooth, and creamy with no alcohol burn. This is definitely a "hit" IPA from Other Half - tasty stuff and very easy to drink at 9% abv.

Pours a completely opaque color of grapefruit juice with a finger of head. The nose has notes of fruit and dankness but neither particularly stand out. There's definitely a sweet citrus flavor but the bitterness is low. The body is quite light for the style.

Pours a bright vibrant orange with a thick foamy head. The head dissipates quickly but leaves some nice, sudsy lacing.

Big fruit going on in the nose. Berry, mango, lemon, and citrus all combine for a nice fruit punch mix. Just a hint of pine in the background but its there.

Taste is fruit-forward as well. The candied lemon flavors really take a front seat. Pineapple and fresh-squeezed orange. It's somewhat sweet but also nicely tart. And that tartness keeps up through the nice long finish. It's overall just really tasty and nicely balanced between the sweeter notes and the tartness. No hint of the alcohol.

Mouthfeel is surprisingly light. Thin even, (compared to some OH IPAs) but not in a bad way. I don't like my IPAs too thick.

The citrus flavor in this seems like it would make it really well-suited to sip on a hot summer afternoon. It's summer here but not particularly hot. I'll probably pick up some more of this the next time I see it.

A beautiful juice bomb guava pineapple color and about a finger head. Smells of strong citrus and tastes orange juicy and its sweet. Then you get a bitter tongue. The wife liked it. It's a great blend and I think the flavors cover all the taste buds.

Cloudy peach and banana colored body sporting a one-finger thick head that is incredibly dense and creamy, rich and sticky and highly sculpted. The smell contributes a bit of dankness and a touch of tropical fruit to the nose. The taste has some fresh fruit qualities to it, papaya, white grapefruit, and banana; orange juice; tangy; bold hop bitterness throughout; mild biscuit-like flavor in the background; trace of booziness. Heavy body; rich and creamy; moderately intense acidity.

There was no canning date on the label, so the beer's age is unknown. I'm inclined to believe it's probably not much more than two months old since the taste of fresh tropical fruit still stands out. The double dry hopping certainly adds some pep to this beer. For a hazy, this one does itself justice.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a snifter.

Look- Dull straw, frothy white head, very hazy, above average lacing, average head retention.

Smell- Melon, mango, clementine, very slight pine.

Taste- Papaya, mango, very ripe melon, tart clementine.

Feel- Between medium and full body, very astringent, average carbonation, low bitterness, soft.

Overall- Nice beer, just a bit of an astringent/harsh feel is my only complaint.

Really tasty beer. Hazy orange juice like appearance, light and fluffy head and lacing. Aromas of orange, lemon, tangerine. Taste is a freshly squeezed orange juice forefront, lemon and grapefruit notes in the background. Tangy, juicy, creamy. Lighter to medium bodied, slightly mouth watering finish. Alcohol presence is very subtle. Love the double dry hopped part of this, brings it a great contrast of strength and softness.

Average pour yields a finger of eggshell white foam, even surface and decent density, leaves a solid lacing sheet which slowly settles downward. Nothing to say visually about the liquid, opaque yellow as all others in the genre. The nose lacks density and punch, good bit of dankness which spreads wide and dissipates, melon, kiwi, peach fruit scents, tangerine and honey, nothing negative about it, no flaws or such. Medium-bodied, on the dry side with moderate fluff from the carbonation. Tar and grapefruit peels, close to earthy at moments. Not grassy as in a bright and snappy manner, more vegetal. The melon, peach, papaya fruit muted. No relative change from fridge temp to room temp. It’s just okay. (Canned 9/15/20)

A tasty but just a good New England IPA. Aromas of spicy peach and piney citrus. Taste is bitter with herbal and piney hops along with tropical fruit mangoes and even some banana. Nice off-white lacing but an opaque ugly pale yellow cloudy mess (representative of the style, but still damn ugly). A medium bodied beer with a dry but slightly coating finish.

Super fresh only 7days out. It pours a hazy light golden coler with a fresh white head. Smell was subdued a bit notes of passion fruit, melon and citrus. Taste was better tropical with citrus, melon ,peach and pear, very nice. A super soft mouth feel with ABV nowhere to be felt, sweet with no drying bitterness.

Pours a hazy orange with a finger of white head. Aroma is tropical, a bit dank, lightly sweet. Flavors are pretty intense yet rounded; maybe some mango, papaya, passionfruit, and pineapple. Finish is decidedly sweet which is probably what reminds me of passion fruit. Medium bodied with moderate plus carbonation. Overall a pretty tasty beer, I like the flavors but the sweetness tones down the drinkability.

Pours a brilliant, glowing orange color. Completely opaque. Nice thick four finger head dissolves leaving just a round mound of foam in the center of the beer with lots of sticky tasing left on the glass walls.

Aroma has notes of mandarins, mango, peach and cantaloupe with some herbal grassy notes coming through. There is a slight creaminess to the aroma reminiscent of something like a tropical fruit paleta.

Taste is almost entirely unexpected given the fruitiness of the aroma - its got some light fruity notes up front - cantaloupe, mango, and orange - but the dominating flavor is an herbal, grassy quality with a strong green onion flavor. There is an overarching pronounced bitterness that starts almost immediately on the palate and then lingers long into the finish. That creaminess on the nose is present in the flavor profile providing some moderate sweetness. For me, the sweetness and creaminess of the NE style IPA just does not go well with the green onion and herbal - almost vegetal - flavors that this one gives off.

Feel is medium to full bodied with a smooth creaminess to it. Even though its a NE-style DIPA it doesn't come across as overly hefty. Its actually pretty easy-drinking for a NEDIPA.

Overall, the marriage of the style and the vegetal hops in this one just did not sit well for me. In a more traditional IPA these flavors would be nice, but mixed with that sweet creaminess of the NE style, its just not something I enjoyed.

Raining outside, so this will have to do for now. DDH Space Diamonds from Other Half. Hazy orange hue that tapers into a bit of burnt rust. Aromas of green onion, honeydew, and pineapple. Hints of tobacco leaf, and extant conifer. Taste follows with citric characteristics and hints of pear. Dank up front, creamy mid-palate, and a mix of juicy/peppery on the finish. I will say that I genuinely love the mouthfeel on OH beers, as they always seem to nail this aspect.

Cloudy orange fading to amber body with a white cap and lacing. Dank, weedy and onion hops with lemon zest, honeydew, grapefruit pith, and tons of some kind of tropical fruits in the background. Taste takes it to the next level: releases the pith and zest in a potent way that accents the dank and weedy dry hops and various juicy fruits. Add pear, mango, and papaya to star with the nose stars. Has a peppery kick in the hop finish to boot. Wonderfully complex! Feel is dank, juicy, light but darker than expected in a good way. Hops are felt constantly but artfully. This has everything you’re looking for flavor wise in a dipa

Sweet, tropical hoppy, and prominent dank nose on this one! Taste follows EXACTLY! With a classic Galaxy hop profile. This is really, really soft on the palate and well-balanced...nice and smooth. The softness works well with the hoppy dankness on the finish! This is fantastic!
