Pours an opaque yellow gold with a finger of dense white head that sticks around for a bit.
Smells of orange, pineapple, tropical fruits.
Taste follows, sweet orange, pineapple, mango, hints of guava.
Full bodied, good carb levels, smooth and highly drinkable.
Overall an excellent example of the style.

Many thanks to DEdesings57 for sending this can my way.

A - Pale opaque gold white appearance with a ring of dense white lacing.

S - Citrus, peach, pineapple, and some tropical fruit on the nose.

T - Strong pineapple taste from start to finish, pineapple rind with peppery notes, some tropical fruit, and all fruit from start to finish. Nice long lingering spicy pineapple on the backside.

M - Big and chewy body that's very dry across the entire top of the tongue.

O - The ABV is completely hidden with strong pineapple character. This is a fantastic big IPA and recommended.

Pours a hazed yellow color with a bigger white head.

Aromas on this are quite pungent, filling the air with ripe oranges, riesling grapes and fresh cut lime. Offers a skunky weed quality atop, together with ripe mango and a hint of bubblegum.

Has a lower carbonated, smooth mouthfeel with a nice, thick creaminess to it.

Tastes of sun ripened oranges, rich citrus and a light hint of toffee, together with a citraic, lighter hop bitterness. That bitterness compliments to the hops in a great way, enriched by a resinous dankness, which lets the fruits stand out in a great way. Finishes slightly herbal, fruity with luscious mango, ice bonbons and a prominent bitterness, defining the long and smooth aftertaste of this.

This is an incredibly complex and well nuanced beer, featuring a great and unforseen interplay of sweet and juicy fruits, bitter lime, dank herbs and ice bonbons. Atop of this, the beer features a fantastic, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, making this one of the greatest ne-ipas I‘ve ever had. Its strong headed, versatile and tastes great from the beginning till the end.

Canned on 4/4/19

Pours an opaque pale yellow topped with a finger of pillowy white foam; alright head retention yields a light collar and a faint, spotty cap, but a fairly impressive tapestry of lasting, webby lacing.

Aroma begs for attention; pungent, herbal white grape come out swinging, with a musty wet grain contributing an unusually sweet earthiness that has me leaning almost towards an incense-like quality; huge dankness is the result. Light guava, rotting apple core, herbal honeysuckle, and a faint but offsetting citric creaminess find their way through in a significant secondary capacity; enigmatic, and it has me only wanting to dig deeper.

Taste brings soft peach and mango more upfront, with now-toned down white grape following close behind with its own bit of pungency; still, hints of passionfruit and guava round out an ever-present citric tone; herbal bitterness barely beats out the more creamy tropical fruit notes, although both maintain their own prominence in the profile.

Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body accompanied by moderate carbonation only peaking in all the right places across the palate; no hints of booziness, and drinks incredibly lightly overall; consistently on the juicier end, with room for an astringent dryness that really caps things off nicely; pretty fluffy on the tongue without ever losing that slight sense of gritty, bitter hoppiness.

Pungent and layered to the point of leaving me almost entirely engrossed; the spell is only broken to be met with a pure drinkability steeped in airy juiciness and toned hops; a stunner from Other Half that lives up to the brewery’s reputation.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence custom tasting pint glass; canned on 4/17/19, code HOP NEBULA.
A: Pours a cloudy hard cord yellow color (think white grape fruit juice), with a one finger, white head, retention of no more than a rim, and decent rings of Brussels lacing.
S: Aromas of grapefruit, honeysuckle, honey, tutti-fruity, and caramel predominate with a very light pine and definite oregano note.
T: Semisweet. Flavors definitely akin to the nose vis a vis white grapefruit, but lime, oregano, and graininess is also a part of the picture as it warms. Bitterness offsets any excessive sweetness.
M: Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy, juicy, and luscious.
O: Another "oat cream" NEIPA hit from Other Half.

On tap at OH.
This beer always looks amazing. Creamy and pale golden yellow. Significant lacing and minimal head retention.
Smells like pineapple, green apple, mint, parsley.
This is one of my fav OH beers. It’s up there with All Citra & Mylar Bags. The galaxy hop profile is very enjoyable.

Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Similar to other really high end New England IPAs. Tastes of lemon, pineapple, and solid galaxy hops. Mild bitterness and carbonation, and solid beer, but not unbelievable compared to some others I've had from this brewery.

Pours very cloudy yellow/orange juice color with a finger foamy white head that faded slowly and left really good foamy lacing in the form of honeycombs. Typical good NE IPA looks, standard for an Other Half IPA.

Aroma is a tropical fruit, orange juice, grapefruit, citrus notes, tangerine, fruity candy, some light caramel and biscuit and or toasted grains. Not as dank as usual since this beer is 2+ months old, but it held up nicely.

Flavor followed suit with the additions of lemon, pineapple, melon, tart green apple, faint brown sugar, tea leaf and mild floral notes. Mild bitterness and almost no carbonation helped this to go down fast and easy. I rated it 4.25 across the board because I've had so many Other Half beers that I know this would be even better if the can were fresh.

Solid 4.5 across the board! A reminder of how good Other Half can be. Pours a turbid straw yellow with a soapy white head. Nose is amazing! A tropical fruit bouquet! Nice floral undertone that balances out. Taste is mango and pineapple purée! Beautiful hoppy fruitiness countered by floral and sweet doughy malt. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. Nice hoppy finish.

Dear Lord. Thanks to CanConPhilly for this true gem!!!
Pours a turbid, hazy, swirl of mango puree. Truly a glorious tornado of anticipation. Fluffy white head rises a finger plus high. Good retention. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is zesty, but not just with citrus notes. Some mango, pineapple, and melon note comes through as well. Then a slightly herbal, earthy, fertile dank follows. A biscuity grain note pipes in gently.
Taste is stunning. Juicy for days. Citrus and a melange of lots of fruit. Guava, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, peach. Some earthy weedy notes, and a slightly gritty biscuit note. Slight spicy herbal bitter note on the finish. But all of this plays so well together. There is such an ebb and flow.
Mouthfeel is medium, carbonation plays along for the whole ride. Runs between creamy and fluffy.
Overall, how do they do it? So good.

Appearance: Pours very cloudy and pear nectar colored with a one finger cap; good retention and splashy lacing

Smell: Pineapple, passionfruit and pear; dank, with a hint of basil

Taste: Pineapple and pear forward, with the passionfruit tones building; dank and moderately bitter, through the middle, with the herbal hint of basil peeking through; dry finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Not as juicy as I had hoped but a good single hop beer

Thanks, thirsty4beer, for the opportunity

On tap at Beer Shop, NYC.
Pours a turbid yellow beige color with a creamy head. As the head dissipates, a frothy collar retains along with ring like lacing.
The aroma opens with muted fruit, pear, mango and guava. Just as suddenly, a big aromatic burst of zesty citrus rind and pineapples hit the nose, with a subtle biscuity malt character.
Sweet and juicy, rife with tropical and citrus fruit. Flavors of mango, pineapple, banana, grapefruit pulp amidst a sweet honey and biscuity malt. Yet, there is a zesty fruit and mild piny prickle in the middle palate that prevents this becoming too much of a “milkshake” IPA. Furthermore, the finish has a citrus rind, lemon seed, peppery and slightly resiny bitterness that compliments things nicely.
Medium bodied, frothy, quite creamy and with a gentle carbonation. There is a mild spicy character that balances things out.
Good example of the NEIPA style.

Can from 10/6/18 release. Poured into Belgian tulip.
Look is a cloudy pale straw gold with a fluffy white head that sticks around pretty well. Nose is perfectly galaxy, like smelling a bag of galaxy hops but amplifying the fruit aspects, with all the passionfruit, mango, etc. tropical fruit goodness plus some distinctly hoppy (as opposed to weedy) dankness in the background, this could maybe be described as weedy dankness combined with floral notes, hard to describe besides saying it smells like a bag of hops, either way it really rounds out the smell. Taste is the same tropical fruit salad up front and staying through the end, plus a smidge of biscuity or bready malt in the middle and end and the hop dankness coming in just toward the end and in the finish with just a smidge of bitterness appearing in balance, overall a really round and full taste despite the use of a single hop. Mouthfeel is medium with a bit more carbonation than some other OH beers producing a more fluffy mouthfeel that suits the other aspects and makes it very drinkable. Overall this is a fantastic NEIIPA and an amazing display of the capability of galaxy hops to carry a beer on their own. Great stuff from OH.

Pours hazy New England style ipa. Minimal head.

Dankness of galaxy immediately evident.

I enjoy the flavor ,but not huge fan of single hop galaxy beers. Needs a complimentary hop for this beer to shine

Mouthfeel solid for style

Overall solid beer but lack of complexity holds this beer back from being excellent

Poured from a 32 oz growler into a teku glass.

Pours an opaque golden yellow color with a half-finger of creamy white head. The head leaves a solid crown of lacing before settling into a thin sheet.

The aroma brings notes of lime, pineapple, and honeydew melon, followed by some mango and orange. There's some sweet bread and herbaceous notes on the back end. This is definitely a Galaxy beer.

The flavor is all about the peach and pineapple up front, then comes a huge wave of key lime pie, honeydew melon, mango, and lemon meringue. Finishes with some basil and pine and the absolute foggiest idea of doughy malt.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very smooth, yet very slick and oily.

Overall, Galaxy is my favorite hop and it is utilized brilliantly in this beer. It has all the pineapple you come to expect from Southern Hemisphere hops, as well as that herbaceous, basil-like note that is both spicy and sweet. So damn good.

L - pours an impenetrably thick yeasty yellow haze. Like a sandstorm in my glass. Usually some light makes it through a beer of this color, but not today.

S - fiery, zesty citrus rind. Lemon, orange, lime. Silky vanilla pineapple peeks through at the end to add a delightful sweetness. Bready and peppery.

T - gentle and dripping with hops. Slightly restrained taste compared to the nose, but chock full of pineapple and doughy goodness. Getting a really light orange juice acidity. I guess you could say pear as well as lime. Booze comes out the more it warms and piles on the zesty tang. Buckets of yeast and peach. Acidic bitterness tingles long after the sip.

F - soft and creamy. Glides on the tongue with the perfect viscous balance of velvet and fluff. Pretty nice.

O - this is definitely hopped. Extensively. Incredibly robust and smooth though. Handles those hops beautifully.

L - 1.5 finger brilliant white head atop a glowing orange body.

S - tropical citrus explosion! Pineapple, mango, grapefruit.

T - follows the nose. Moderate bitterness, low sweetness, low booze. A little dirty on the finish but that’s a very minor complaint.

F - Thick and creamy by ipa standards.

O - In the top 3 beers that OH makes. I will line up or trade for this at a moment’s notice.

Great looking NEIPA pour...clouded, lasting fine bubble head, leaves a load of scattered fine lacing.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. I didn't look at the can date, but this is probably a 3 month old beer.

L: A medium cloudy gold color. Nice two finger white head with some nice glass lacing.

S: Huge pineapple nose. That mixes with some other tropical fruits and some pear.

T: I get loads of tropical fruit with the pineapple really standing out. Tropical fruits mix with some pear, peach and grapefruit. Sweetness is cotton candy like with the huge tropical fruits and some bitterness finishing out. Finish is nice and dry. Good beer.

F: Pretty full mouthfeel, creamy, slightly bitter and hardly any alcohol. Nice.

O: Another winner for OT, I really liked this one. I need to keep trading for their stuff.
