Poured to a stemmed BrewDog glass.. Canned at May 5th. Drank in September 22th.

A: The body presents a bright light yellow with a minimal 2 to 3mm white head. Little to no retention. No lacing.
S: The aroma is very tropical and resinous, having its profiles of pineapple, mango, passionfruit, resin and also a bit of citrus. The end of the aroma is composed of great Galaxy and Simcoe hops (I think - still trying to find my way through hop varieties).
T: The taste starts with a citrus like tone of lemon zest and orange. It quickly changes itself to a more juicy taste of mango and passionfruit. Then bitterness bites hard and there you go, a wonderfully hopped end to a mildly resinous peak.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is high and a bit harsh. Bitterness is high. Alcohol is unnoticed.
O: First non-collaborative beer from Other Half. Happy to have it. The North East is killing it in the US.

16oz can poured into a Brew Gentlemen Teku glass:

Look: Pours a nice hazy straw yellow color with a nice head! Lacing is present with great retention!

Smell: Tropical, citrus, lemon, pine, and grass!

Taste: More of the same on the taste as the nose! Lots of citrus and tropical notes such as peach and lemon going on! Nice bit of a grassy thing going on as well with some pine and a bit of malt to balance things out!

Feel: Medium bodied! Nice soft mouthfeel!

Overall: Super solid IPA from Other Half! Glad I was able to score a can of this from my buddy who went to the release! I will definitely be searching out more Other Half beers in the future!

This was yet another beer from Other Half that I had recently and took a while to get to. Of course, it was worth the wait and oh-so-easy to quaff, given the combination of popular hops that were in this. If you're a fan other Other Half's brews, this one won't disappoint as it delivered exactly what you'd expect, while having you wanting more in the end!

Canned on 5/5 with "MR. NICE GUY", this poured a dank gold with plenty of long-lasting head to top it off. Generous rings of lacing slide down the side of my teku glass. A muddled aroma of dank weed, grass, and melon rind filled the muted nose as all the best aspects of all the hops came through. Candied sweetness, soft lactose, and faint stone fruit slickness could be felt once I gave this a taste as everything melded well together, without anything being too strong or outstanding. A light amount of carbonation and dank aftertaste had me wanting more after every sip...

Combined with the low presence of alcohol, all of the above resulted in a beer that was a tad too heavy-hearted to be truly great, but gave a flavor and mouthfeel that wasn't quite anything like anything I had before. That's all I need to enjoy a beer and this was good enough to be made into a double dry-hopped version. Thankfully, Other Half already read my mind, even though this one would be equally as good a choice!

L - Hazy straw yellow with minimal head
S - Unlike other OH brews I've had. Feels restrained but very clean and opens up over time. Very tropical and lemon as well
T - Pineapple and peaches are very apparent
F - Medium bodied flavor

Not DDH like other OH beers I've had but this is a sleeper hit. Very tasty and refreshing.

went to the release expecting to get all of the DDH offerings and skip out on this one, but ended up getting there late and this was all that was left. can't explain how happy I am that it played out this way, this is an incredible beer, definitely a sleeper! pours a bright straw yellow, murked out like crazy, nice fluffy head. taste is actually a lot more complex than you would think: pineapples, slight peaches, and lots of dank grass. very very faint malt on the end to tie the hop flavor together. the feel turned this big tasting beer into a great session that I wish I had unlimited supply of to drink this summer.

Canned 5/5/17; drank 5/13/17 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque yellow/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big bright white head; thick, frothy lace.

Lemon, caramelized sugar & mild dry grass notes int the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Lemon, caramelized sugar & faint dry grass flavors; flavorful, certainly, but kind of clashing & over the top. Not one I'd seek out again.

davidsoul once again keeping my IV flowing fresh other half. boy, have we been spoiled lately by other half...cranking out killer beer after killer beer...ddh'ing the universe. but it's one is an old fashioned single ipa. light yellow murk w a generous head. nose is really pleasant sweet tropical hop. taste is also a very nice medley of light fruity tropical sweet hops. a tad bitter on the finish with a sweet uptick. really tasty...particularly for not having that ddh magic. real good...particularly for the style.

L - hazy, straw yellow, one finger head lingers for quite a while

S - mango, lemon peel, burnt rubber, white grape, whole wheat bread
(I don't think the beer actually has any wheat, but whatever, it probably doesn't have any burnt rubber either.)

T - lots of tart tropical fruit, slight grassy note throughout, low-ish levels of sweetness and bitterness, limey finish

F - medium thickness, medium plus carbonation, nice small bubbles, no burn

O - wasn't blown away on the first sniff, but sip after sip it really grew on me, so maybe it's better warmer (like 55 vs 45), substantial yet sessionable

Growler fill from Noble Grains NYC on the UES
Hazy blushing orange, smells like stinky fruity dank weed, taste like juicy tropical fruit nectar, citrus zest, mild pith bitterness, full bodied, soft and sticky. A dank fruity delight.

-cloudy lemon yellow tap pour. Minimal visible effervescence. Tropical fruit aroma and pronounced mango, pineapple fruit flavors with a really good hop bite. This is a really enjoyable fruit-forward IPA with a substantial hop tingle!
