Canned 12/07/17, ‘Naughty or Nice’.

Pours a hazy golden yellow. Nice sticky lace and frothy white foam.

Tropical, mango, passionfruit, hints of bitter citrus, subtle hop presence. Great nose. Slight resin, malt.

Lemony citrus transforms to sweet tropical fruit. Very smooth, hardly any bitterness or overwhelming qualities. It’s well balanced.

Smooth, creamy, slightly sticky. Smooth and crushable.

Availability - Brewed a couple times to my knowledge! A great beer to drink if you want a step up from session! Still not as good as OH!

Poured to a stemmed BrewDog glass.. Canned at May 5th. Drank in September 22th.

A: The body presents a bright light yellow with a minimal 2 to 3mm white head. Little to no retention. No lacing.
S: The aroma is very tropical and resinous, having its profiles of pineapple, mango, passionfruit, resin and also a bit of citrus. The end of the aroma is composed of great Galaxy and Simcoe hops (I think - still trying to find my way through hop varieties).
T: The taste starts with a citrus like tone of lemon zest and orange. It quickly changes itself to a more juicy taste of mango and passionfruit. Then bitterness bites hard and there you go, a wonderfully hopped end to a mildly resinous peak.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is high and a bit harsh. Bitterness is high. Alcohol is unnoticed.
O: First non-collaborative beer from Other Half. Happy to have it. The North East is killing it in the US.

16oz can poured into a Brew Gentlemen Teku glass:

Look: Pours a nice hazy straw yellow color with a nice head! Lacing is present with great retention!

Smell: Tropical, citrus, lemon, pine, and grass!

Taste: More of the same on the taste as the nose! Lots of citrus and tropical notes such as peach and lemon going on! Nice bit of a grassy thing going on as well with some pine and a bit of malt to balance things out!

Feel: Medium bodied! Nice soft mouthfeel!

Overall: Super solid IPA from Other Half! Glad I was able to score a can of this from my buddy who went to the release! I will definitely be searching out more Other Half beers in the future!

This was yet another beer from Other Half that I had recently and took a while to get to. Of course, it was worth the wait and oh-so-easy to quaff, given the combination of popular hops that were in this. If you're a fan other Other Half's brews, this one won't disappoint as it delivered exactly what you'd expect, while having you wanting more in the end!

Canned on 5/5 with "MR. NICE GUY", this poured a dank gold with plenty of long-lasting head to top it off. Generous rings of lacing slide down the side of my teku glass. A muddled aroma of dank weed, grass, and melon rind filled the muted nose as all the best aspects of all the hops came through. Candied sweetness, soft lactose, and faint stone fruit slickness could be felt once I gave this a taste as everything melded well together, without anything being too strong or outstanding. A light amount of carbonation and dank aftertaste had me wanting more after every sip...

Combined with the low presence of alcohol, all of the above resulted in a beer that was a tad too heavy-hearted to be truly great, but gave a flavor and mouthfeel that wasn't quite anything like anything I had before. That's all I need to enjoy a beer and this was good enough to be made into a double dry-hopped version. Thankfully, Other Half already read my mind, even though this one would be equally as good a choice!

L - Hazy straw yellow with minimal head
S - Unlike other OH brews I've had. Feels restrained but very clean and opens up over time. Very tropical and lemon as well
T - Pineapple and peaches are very apparent
F - Medium bodied flavor

Not DDH like other OH beers I've had but this is a sleeper hit. Very tasty and refreshing.
