Pours a completely opaque orange color with a quarter inch white head that left decent lacing. Smells of citrus and a touch of tropical fruit. Taste of grapefruit, grapefruit pith, lemon with some pineapple and melon in the background. Medium bodied with light to medium carbonation, moderately bitter and dry finish.

Picked this up at the same release as the Broccoli and Cabbage. Like those beers, I was intrigued to give this a go (Yes, I was born in Wisconsin!) and though it didn't quite taste like actual cheddar cheese, it was dry and nuanced enough to remind me of my favorite food to snack on. A shot of salt might have been enough to push this over the proverbial edge!

The date on the bottom of the can read 3/23 with "YOUNG CHEEZY" written above it, which was quite the humorous touch. It was needed given how dank and murky the muddled, cheddar hue was though there was plenty of head to top it off and enough soapy lacing in my teku glass to balance out the gravity of the liquid within. Muddled citrus, soft melon, pineapple, and passion fruit rounded out the nose with plenty of those in the taste as well. Slick, smooth, and somewhat dry, this went down easily as everything melded well together. The lesser-used hops in this really gave it a mouthfeel that was unfamiliar but at the same time, oddly comforting. A hint of fresh-cut grass tied everything in together and allowed the flavors to linger as this warmed up, while having the consistency of hot wax. A medium body and low carbonation complemented all of this quite nicely.

Once again, the presence of alcohol was nearly impossible to detect both in the taste and on my breath once I polished this off. Really enjoyed this beer as it made me crave cheese because of the overall dryness of it and how chalky it felt in terms of the bite. Anther impressive example of how Other Half is killing it right now and pushing the edge of what beer can be - could "crackers" be that far off?

Hazy golden, big white head and nice lacing. Aromas of pineapple, citrus and hops. Notes of pineapple, citrus, underripe mango, and herbaceous greens. Medium body, crushable, well carved and lightly dry. Nice dipa with unique flavor profile.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy to pale milky orange / slightly gold color with a finger’s worth of lasting white head. Dies off at a good pace. The aroma had sweet to bitter citrus fruits of lemon, orange, and tangerine. Light pineapple/mango. Then a touch of bitterness flows in ever so slightly. The flavor starts sweet through the previously mentioned aromas with the bitterness coming back a little more eventful than the aroma. But now there’s a slight sour tickle just slyly moving in to touch down in the aftertaste. The finish features the tropical fruits somewhat slick with a nice mobility at the back of my tongue. On the palate, this one sat almost medium bodied, just a tad underneath. Still, it’s a sipper of a DIPA which is good, in my opinion. The hops don’t leave much abrasiveness along my tongue, which I don’t mind, quite smooth. ABV, actually feels just a tad under than what the brewer projects. Overall, spectacular DIPA, I have yet to be disappointed by Other Half.

On the heels of Other Half's Broccoli IIPA... Similar appearance, opaque grapefruit juice but with a big foam head and lacing left behind. This, too had rather dank grapefruit pith aromas predominate. the feel was softly smooth, with a little less tartness and a more pronounced drying effect. the flavors had much of that grapefruit-like quality, but with more of a tropical smoothie element at play. The sugars seemed a little more pronounced up front, but again, dried out considerably, and finished with a stronger dankness than Broccoli. Another super solid beer.

32oz. growler into a Surly teku. Shared by schen9303.

As NE as NE IPAs get in terms of look. This is downright muddy. Nose is pretty stereotypic OH too. Juicy with almost a metallic hop presence. Hints of citrus, passion fruit and starfruit. Beer opens citrus and grapefruit up front. Again, real juicy with a bit of pineapple, starfruit and orange. Big malt overtones. The hop bitterness is present but it only appears right at the finish with a twinge of waxiness. Body is medium but a touch carbonated. Almost soda-like. Very drinkable with a accented, aggressive finish.

This is an impressive beer and I'm guessing the name refers to the color which is downright repulsive. The flavor is top notch though. Worth trying.

A juicy and hazed pour with a golden soapy color and a nice lingering white head. The nose is hoppy and bitter. Very subtle and smooth upfront on the drinking with nice lingering hop notes. A very smooth flow with a pretty clean finish that is slightly bitter at best. A rather different hop profile that I am use to. I get the citra, and even the ekuanot but am rather unfamiliar with the others. Notes of furry fruit with peach, tangerine, melon, orange. The mouth feel is on the light-moderate side. A pretty juicy feel with also a creamy texture. Leaves a very subtle flavor linger.

Overall, nice but different stuff. Not my favorite from them but it's a quality brew regardless.

Overall good beer . Totally new flavor for me. I figured with all the new hop it would be and it did not disappoint me . Great orange color and feel to the beer . Really nothing special about the aroma . Defiantly a must try if it is around when you get there.
