Picked this up way back in March and finally got around to it tonight. Loved the design of the label with 3/31 written on the bottom of the can below "LUCKY NUMBER 7". As far as Other Half's offerings go, this was one of those that was neither great nor terrible but served as a relatively textbook example of what they're producing these days. Given how highly regarded they are, that's not a bad thing and if you're into dank beers from this neck of the woods, you certainly couldn't go wrong with this one!
Good pour to this as the beer had a murky and melon hue to it with plenty of head to top it off. Very little lacing left behind as there were some scattered clumps of soapy suds left on the side of my teku glass. Lots of dank melon, citrus juice, and earthy grass in the muted nose with plenty more of those in the taste. Soft, grassy, and pale, the mouthfeel was neither light or heavy, nor weak or boozy form the get-go. Plenty of bread in the malt gave this a nice, full body and the dankness was kept to a minimum here. The mouthfeel was subtly sweet with apricot and just creamy enough to keep this from feeling too heavy as the aftertaste left like lime soda; down to the amount of carbonation present.
Not a lot of alcohol here though I could detect it by the time I finished this off. While not outstanding, there was plenty to enjoy here and anyone enamored by Other Half's myriad of other offerings will love this one as well. It's just another examples of how they're killing it right now!

A: Hazy pale malt with turbidity and heavy lacing from said turbidity. Light yellow orange
S: Aromas of dank orange juice, some earthiness and pine as well as tropical fruit
T: Pineapple with grass mixed in with the signature Ekuanot hop flavors of orange and the old favorite "pith". It has that scratch your throat earthy grass feel with the dry hopping rate elevated to the point you dont know if you are starting to get a sore throat. Azacca hops also there, adding some spiciness perhaps and of course how to discern between that and the Mosaic when there are four hops in here. All in all, a good mixture. I can enjoy all of the flavors of these four hops coming together.
M: light body with a high level of carbonation coming out of a growler that is about 5 days back.
O: Overall very impressed its a very solid American IPA and I cannot wait for these guys to increase their production to meet distro.
