De OkassionalBeer. En copa Teku. Jugando a Final Fantasy 2 Remake.

Pours cloudy gold color with a 2 finger thick foamy white head that faded very slowly, leaving outstanding lacing coating the glass. Smells like ripe citrus fruit from 6 inches away from the glass, full of citrus including orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lime, yuzu, coriander, lemon zest and mild peppery spices. Tastes of dank citrus fruit and a mix of grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, lime, coriander, honeydew melon, Razzles candy, chalky yeast, candied sugar, Fruity Pepples cereal, piney hops, dried flowers and faint apricot as it fades. Mouthfeel is creamy with a nice, tart bitterness, mild carbonation and a dry finish which has citrus notes, yeast and mild peppery spices. A great DIPA.

Pours a hazy straw color, ample foamy head. Dank aroma. Loads of dankness, light tropical fruit, grapefruit pith. Feels heavy and dense in my belly. Overall it is not really my jam, all the dankness, but it is good.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Juicy citrus, tropical and stone fruit, a slight green grassy herbal note, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Ripe juicy citrus, big orange and tangerine, plus a little lime and lemon, tropical and stone fruit, guava, nectarine, pineapple, apricot, and passion fruit, subtle grassy herbal notes peek out as it warms, super faint hint of coconut, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Seeing the Cashmere on the label made me pause for a second, but not much more than that given how much I've liked everything I've had from OH so far regardless of the hops involved. Glad I grabbed it. Any herbal and coconut presence from the Cashmere barely pokes its head out as you reach the bottom of the glass. Super tasty.
This review might end up being a placeholder but we'll see. Trying to match up various OH beer variants has become a bit tricky. Like another reviewer mentioned, my can is denoted as True Green, a 8% Imperial IPA Double Dry Hopped with Citra, Motueka, Eclipse, and Cashmere hops. OH's website shows this same label, listed as just True Green, not Double Dry Hopped True Green, but swaps the Eclipse and Cashmere hops for Mandarina and Kohatu. Who knows if this is an odd batch that required some substitutions or an evolution of their recipe.

This is the latest version at 8% abv with citra, eclipse, motueka and cashmere - and the can art depicted here and not in the DDH entry (and photo). Another terrific DIPA offering from other half, no surprise, this one has some dankness and maybe a touch of pine and perceptible alcohol, coupled with the expected fruitiness. Vaguely tropical and maybe even a little limey. Smooth and soft but not overly full bodied, pretty drinkable with the well controlled sweetness levels. Canned about two weeks prior to review so definitely in peak form. Get some.
