Thanks to David
Light head, pitch black beer with long legs.
Nose loads of strawberry and chocolate, cocoa, fruity, a bit of candy and candied fruit, caramel, vanilla, toasty
Taste big vanilla cream candy, loads of strawberry, chocolate covered strawberries, vanilla icing frosting, little tingly alcohol, caramel, toasted roasted malts
Mouth is thicker creamy fluffy , light tingly alcohol, decent fizzy carb.

A very dark color with little head and lacing. Wweet berries vanilla bourbon scent. The taste follows the smell, with hints of berries, a sweet vanilla hint and a subtle bourbon hint. A light sweet bodied stout makes for easy drinking, but it does have a nice kick, albeit not noticeable while drinking. I enjoyed drinking this beer, especially considering "OH is not know for their stouts", so I am glad I picked this up at the source.

Didn't get the Twigs and Nuts but ended up trading out for a bottle of this relatively recently. I could easily taste the strawberries in this but given that I'm not quite the fully-knowledgeable imbiber, I had no idea what Tahitian Vanilla tasted like. What did pick up with quit the sweetness and potency reminiscent of brandy, which was more than enough to keep me interest in this from start to finish!
The pour to this was nice and dark with a thin raspberry-like head that quickly settled. Not a lot of lacing was left behind either as this was quite thin for a beer of this type. Strawberries, brandy, crusted caramel, and booze were all to be found in the nose which wasn't overpowering but was quite strong in the punch that it packed! More sweetness, cocoa powder, and vanilla were found in the taste as this felt more like a cordial than anything else. The bourbon barrel-aging came through after a while as this beer was a bit sticky on the palate and clean to the finish, with a mild slickness left for me to enjoy as this went down. Not much carbonation here and the body was medium, which let the flavors emerge after this fully warmed up.
To be fair, this was quite strong but came across as something a bit closer to tolerable during my beer drinking session on this drizzly day. A clear winner, this wasn't a Stout that overpowered but instead, long to be sipped after dinner with a strawberry shortcake or chocolate eclairs. Another wonderful brew from Other Half but at this point, would anything less be expected?

yet another courtesy of Davidsoul and the last of this wonderful trio of stouts. this one might be...no it is my favorite of the bunch. the strawberry integrates magically. the abv is invisible and the vanilla and bourbon just round this put perfectly. I was a bit trepidatious about opening this one...so I saved it for last but am floored with how tasty this is. probably the best fruited stout I have ever had. mmm mmm mmm...can't stop sipping.

Look: dark, just like any stout
Smell: this definitely smells like bourbon barrel aged berries with a hint of vanilla
Taste: not perfect for sure and disappointing compared to the smell. Better with warmth.
Feel: ok but not spectacular
Overall: good/above average but not perfect
