Pours an opaque dark yellow with a dense white head. Smell is citrus, with some alcohol. Taste brings more citrus: orange, like and a touch of grapefruit. Alcohol is better hidden than in the aroma. Creamy mouthfeel.
I slightly preferred this to "G is for Green" (which i picked up at the same time) mostly because the alcohol is better hidden in this one.

Pours cloudy gold color with a 2 finger thick foamy white head that faded very slowly, leaving outstanding lacing coating the glass. Smells like ripe citrus fruit from 6 inches away from the glass, full of citrus including orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lime, yuzu, coriander, lemon zest and mild peppery spices. Tastes of dank citrus fruit and a mix of grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, lime, coriander, honeydew melon, Razzles candy, chalky yeast, candied sugar, Fruity Pepples cereal, piney hops, dried flowers and faint apricot as it fades. Mouthfeel is creamy with a nice, tart bitterness, mild carbonation and a dry finish which has citrus notes, yeast and mild peppery spices. A great DIPA.

Purchased late 2024 and tried it…Then accidentally forgot 2nd can/ frig’d it below freezing for about 6 months while absent from my seasonal place. Yikes.
Originally an attractive full creamy white head on a nicely somewhat tannish lemon yellow hazy body. Now head and lacing remain very good but beer is a bit muddy/murky. Nose remains fragrant with hops and a bit of straw. Flavor before was (no surprise) a bit green though Citra mostly noticeable. Now it’s a flavor explosion of rich tropical fruit, lime, some strawberry and biscuit. Citra still noticeable, but Motueka and Cashmire really came out and merge was delicious. Remains as nicely creamy /softly carbonated brew.
An outstanding sipper at 8% especially if you like Motueka and Cashmere.
Glad I got to try it after 6 months of lagering at ice cold temps. lol.
