Mid sized bottle, direct from the brewery a few weeks ago....no dating or vintage info that I can find.
Pour darn near black, dark mocha cap, lasts a while, then leaves some ringed low sheeting.
Sniff reveals the expected mocha, coffee, dark chocolate, booze, vanilla, wood and smoke. Pungent and complex.
Richly flavorful, thick and viscous, super smooth as it flows over the tongue. More coffee/espresso, dark chocolate, wood, smoke, rum/cognac.....complex, big, bold and basically delicious.....well worth a try...world class night capper....Go get some.

16.9oz bottle purchased at the brewery. Pours a viscous black color with an inch of dark brown head that dissipates rapidly. Some lacing. The aroma is woody with lots of Cognac, smoke, dark cherries, espresso and dark chocolate. The taste is woody and earthy with the Cognac coming out more as it warms. Dark cherries, charred wood, espresso, and leather. Boozey finish with lots of smoke and charred wood. About as much alcohol heat as expected. Heavy mouthfeel with low carbonation. A bit pricey but worth trying at least once.
