Get Busy Livin’ Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout conditioned on vanilla and cinnamon brewed in collaboration with our DC homies 3 Stars Brewing. We brewed this big imperial stout last winter before resting it in bourbon barrels. A bit like a bourbon snickerdoodle.

L: 2 finger caramel colored head with small bubbles, not foam. Midnight black liquid with a very low viscosity.
S: Cinnamon is very overbearing almost to an artificial smell, but it opens up nicely to produce coffee, vanilla, bourbon, but mostly cinnamon.
T: Coffee with Jameson and cinnamon. Secondary notes of burnt orange peel, vanilla, caramel, graham cracker, chocolate. It gets creamier and more enjoyable as it opens up, but the cinnamon is very strong the entire time, giving the brew a bite/kick.
F: Very smooth at first, exhaling of the alcohol vapors are a must to get the flavor profile. Cinnamon bite is strong, but gets pleasant.
O: As a person who adds cinnamon to their coffee everyday, I'm a huge fan of this beer. The cinnamon could've been toned down a bit in my opinion, but this is one of a kind. Wish I grabbed more to age and see how it changes.
