From a 16oz can, dated 12/03/21. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a hazy, glowing orange-gold with a finger or so of soft soapy suds. Retention is unremarkable, leaving a thin but solid sheet of lacing.
Nose is yeasty and tartly sweet. Aroma of something fruity and tart, like kiwi and lemon, and of melon.
Taste is in line with the nose, yeasty, tart and juicy but also with a strong character of sour booziness. White grape juice, lime, grapefruit peel, tangerine seltzer, lemon, kiwi and a bit of composty melon rind. Curdled milk and sour grapefruit bitterness. Picking up a little of the honey character mainly as fumes in the sinuses after the sip.
Feel is juicy, smooth, medium-to-maybe-medium-light bodied with fairly zesty carbonation.
Overall, OK. Sort of middle of the road in terms of OH DIPA’s. I think they could have saved themselves the trouble of adding the oats, lactose and honey for all the difference they seemed to make.

(Presume this is the
Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey colored with a two finger head; good retention and spotty lacing
Smell: Papaya, pineapple, passionfruit and lime ensconced with lactose and honey tones
Taste: Papaya and pineapple forward with the lactose and honey flavors enveloping; passionfruit, through the middle, brings a modest bitterness; the finish is a balance between all the flavors
Mouthfeel: Creamy; medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A very nice NE IPA that shows off the sweet side without becoming a cloying mess
Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity

Not a nose bomb. But the honey and mosaic dance perfectly here. Neither is overpowering but neither go unnoticed. Well done.

Other Half Brewing - Double cream get the honey
Pours a very saturated amber to orange color with a bigger, spongy head.
Compared to other dipas of this brewery, this is almost timid on the nose, with just a glimpse of sliced lemon, cucumbers and green mango. Inherits a dose of lighter wild honey on top of that, together with cakey malts and dried grass.
Drinks smooth and soft with a low carbonation level, which lets this appear creamy and silk on the tongue with a lighter to medium body to it.
Tastes of light tangerine, prickly kiwi and smoothing honey. The honey brings a noteable sweetness to the palate, allowing bread dough and caramel to blend into the hop foundation of this, taming the faint bitterness in this even more. Finishes with more lime, an actual hop bite and more creamy honey, which, at this stage has more of a distracting feel to it, than creating complexity.
This is unexcitingly bland, with creamy honey and just a hint of non-expressive hops.

Pours a hazy, pale orange-tinted yellow with a finger of white head that leaves nice lacing.
Pleasant aroma of clementines, cream and white pepper.
Interesting taste. I’m getting grass, cake batter, vanilla, pollen and clementines. Fairly sweet up front with a dully bitter citrus rind finish.
Relatively full bodied with average carbonation.
Nice vanilla blast in this one reminds me a bit of the Tired Hands milkshakes, then there’s a layer of earthy honey undertones that adds a little complexity. Very nice beer.
