This was the first beer from Other Half that I had in ages, as I attempt to whittle my stash down here. Dated 2/18/18 with "PAYTHATMAN" written underneath it, this was a beer that was typical of Other Half and as the previous reviewer stated, just a bit below the lofty standards that they've set!
Not a bad pour to this as the liquid was a hazy goldenrod with a fine sediment in it. Not a lot of head topped it off as there was a thin sheet of bubbles left behind along the top third of my pint glass. Nothing settled to the bottom of the liquid as it was quite quiet to the eye and ear. Lots of oats, tropical fruits, and exotic notes on the mellow nose as the taste was just as mellow and dank. Lychee, pineapple, and vanilla cream entered the fray as this warmed up with a nice, balanced mouthfeel and plenty of fullness to it. Very little carbonation ensured that the flavors would linger for a while as soapy rings emerged once I made my way through this.
Enough booze was in this but it was hard to tell based on the cloying aspect of this beer as it contained a lactose-like stickiness and chewiness from the oats. Not a bad brew and sure to please fans of Other Half and Barrier but at the same time, there wasn't anything particularly memorable about this. Still glad I was able to give it a go...

This beer pours a super cloudy golden orange color with a half finger, soapy white head. Retention is minimal and there are tons of hanging chunks of sticky lacing left on the glass.
Smell is mango, pineapple, tangerine and pine. Rather subdued for an OH beer, but still very nice.
Taste is the same. Fruity and juicy up front with pine coming through mid sip and providing a moderately bitter finish.
Feel is light side of medium, soft and creamy with low carbonation. Very crushable for the abv.
Overall this is a solid beer, but way below the insanely high standard Other Half has set for themselves.

Poured from a growler that I lugged all over NYC all day and then held for 10 days. Held up great! Impressed by the brewery's counter-filling process. Nice tropical and dank aroma. The taste was as expected with pineapple, mango, and a nice undercurrent of dank resin. Soft feel. Outstanding beer.
