Light Therapy Imperial Stout with toasted cacao nibs, toasted sesames, and coconut (13.5%) brewed in collaboration with our friends from Dugges Bryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden. We toasted the cacao nibs and sesames in house, and crushed it with coconut.

Coconut really comes through on this one. Could use a little more thickness and fudge. But otherwise, pretty decent.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery. Great foam head, deep jet black, well blended, no sediment. Sesame and coconut really take over this one in a very pleasing way. Super smooth and creamy. Can definitely feel the alcohol on this one. Very drinkable and enjoyable, but Other Half just can't compete with the Whales. Looking forward to the next one.

So OHhas a rep of not making good stouts and porters and for awhile this was true..until recently, beginning with Maple creamies, and continuing with Short, Dark and Wired and the J Wakefield Collab Snowbirds, OH seems to have found the sweet spot(pun intended) when it comes to stouts and have put out some exceptional stuff, and this is no different..coconut and chocolate dominate both taste and smell, which puts a smile on my face, and similar to Snowbirds, this is fudgy and decedent and one hell of a desert beer..the abv is well hiden, which makes it all the more dangerous..cheers OH keep making these killer stouts!!
