Citra + Azacca Imperial IPA (8.5%) is another in our dual hop series. Brewed with hand selected Citra with a ton of lychee character and hand selected Azacca that is the best we have ever smelled, packed with papaya, mango, melon, citrus and even more tropical fruit character.

Best beer that I've ever smelled? I'm not sure that this would fit that bill but it was enjoyable on the senses although it could have had a better aroma to it. Haven't had much with Azacca in it but this left me wanting more as it was quite juicy, accessible, and exotic all at the same time.
This had a blonde hue to it that was completely opaque and chalky, with enough head topping it off. plenty of lacing was left behind as the extensive suds covered up a majority of the inside of my pint glass. Loads of muted tropical fruit, white cheese, and exotic fruit filled the nose as this came off as dry and appealing at the same time. Floral and melon notes kicked in as this warmed up with this beer being plush and enjoyable without any having any harshness or overt hop burn to it.
There was plenty of booze to this but the enjoyment of this beer was in how much this *didn't* feel that strong. A bit sticky and syrupy in the aftertaste, this was canned on 3/28/18 with "CITRAZACCA" stamped underneath that. I mention that because this featured the best of both of those hops - a sweet and juicy beer with plenty of dry, tropical notes underneath that without any overt heft or potency to it. I relish the dual hop beers from Other Half as they bring about combinations that couldn't be found anywhere else. This was a great example of it as it didn't last in my glass for long and was up to the insane standards that I've come to expect from this brewery!

Friend gave this to me from the brewery. Beer pours with a thick, murky yellow with a decent white head. Orange and grapefruit aromas mixed with a piney smell. Sweet, slightly orange juice like with that grapefruit flavoring I could sense from the smell. Could sense the alcohol through a malty aftertaste. Good mouthfeel; creamy with a light carbonation. Overall, fantastic across the board.

Pours a turbid bright straw yellow with a tight off white head. Nose of citrus peel, grass and sweet pineapple. Taste of sweet pineapple juice, light grapefruit peel, fresh grass and some light pine and floral. Nice malty base but ever so light. A juicy sweetness to this one. Boozier at warmer temps. Thick creamy mouthfeel with a hoppy finish and fairly low bitterness.

Enjoyed poured from the tap at Lyon Bière Festival #3. Very complex aroma and flavour with a lot of dank overiped tropical fruits, some citrus. The mouthfeel is great

Tall can 3/28/18. I'm so glad I have beer buddies in Bklyn.
Super hazed up pour, lasting fine bubble frothy head, leaves quality low sheeting and plenty of fine lacing.
Delicious tropical fruit nose, with pineapple coming to mind.
Loaded with ripe pineapple, smoky oranges and general dank and resiny hop goodness....So yummy, complex and highly worthy....go get some
