Pours an opaque gold with a poorly retained one inch off white head that left a lot of lacing. Smells of citrus and topical fruits and a hint of pine. Tastes of honey dew melon, lime, pink grapefruit, peaches, some malt, pine and some sugary sweetness. Medium bodied and carbonated, very mild bitterness, smooth mouth feel.

Canned: Aug-14-2018 (Consumed Sep-9)
A:
Pours a cloudy gold with a finger of beige head. Barely any retention; some lacing. (3.75)
S:
Lime oil and sap. Pine tar (soft, though), citrus and some peach. (4)
T:
Sappy hop oil with some stone fruit and herbal booze. (4)
M:
Medium+ body with active carbonation and a coating, not-quite resinous finish. (4)
O:
A nice IIPA.
This is a double NE IPA that is a little bolder in the hoppy resin department than some. While there is a little of the fruitiness you'd expect in the aroma and flavor, there is mainly a mellow, almost-piney shellac/potpourri sort of thing that I can't quite place. Some stone fruit/papaya and lots of Citrus oil/pitch goofiness that is fairly well-hidden. Nice beer that is definitely not what I was expecting. I'm excited to finally get to try something from Other Half. (4)

L - sparse head is gone in a flash, leaving behind a vibrant orange body.
S - grapefruit, a touch of herb. Underwhelming.
T - grapefruit and melon with a lot of dank. Resin, cotton candy, lime, a little banana, harsh booze on the finish. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Moderate booziness.
F - medium body with lacking carb.
O - swings too much towards dank and boozy. Not very well balanced.

L - loud and fizzy. Pop Rocks. Dark roasted orange with a head that dissipates as fast as it sounds.
S - toasted oranges and lemon. Green melon and the slightest peachy sweetness. Grainy.
T - loaded up with lime and crisp breadiness. Pink grapefruit bitterness. Sweet brown sugar, but it's hard to come by. Lemon candy. Finish is on the dry side with some hop residue.
F - drinks as fizzy as it sounds. A little jarring and not as smooth as I'd like it to be. I consider this sort of feel to be amateur hour in the NEIPA realm, which is disappointing because I hold OH in such high regard.
O - it's a nice tasting beer and certainly above average, but it's just kinda... there. Can't find anything wrong with it, but it doesn't spark like others I've had from these guys.

On tap at the brewery, Brooklyn.
OH murk; super oily lime rind; touch of wheat, sharp citrus, lots of green onion, Nelson herb, and weediness; smooth.
Citra, Mosaic, NS, Simcoe
4 4.25 4 4 4
495, only more so. Somehow is both harsh citrus + savoury; super twiggy, too. Wilts next to DDH Mylar Bags.
