Quite a collaboration here as my beloved brewer from these parts got together with someone on the left coast here. Full, dank, and deep, there was a lot going on here as this turned out to be fitting for it's moniker. The haze was indeed ethereal but this had so much deep, sticky, tropical goodness to it that it weighed the beer down just a bit too much!
If it was possible to take a mango and turn it into fermented, turbid liquid, then it would have the appearance of this beer. The head topping this off was extensive enough and the lacing left behind was quite extensive as the webbed, soapy lacing hardly showed signs of discernible rings. A subtle, but strong, sweet and sticky tropical presence emerged in the nose as it was full of ripe mango, guava, and papaya. Fruit slickness, onion spice, and a dry, floral undertone bordering on orange blossom took hold as this fully warmed up with this beer feeling more and more overripe as I worked my way through it. Very sticky in the aftertaste as this felt like it had nectar in it, which complemented nearly everything else that was going on...
Enough booze was here but I was hard-pressed to find it with Motueka and Cashmere being at the forefront throughout. Couldn't taste the oats either but at least they gave this the body that kept it from being gimmicky. Love the label, love the parties involved in this but like most things in life that are hazy, this was tough to completely love. Enjoy this bomb for what it was but don't expect to get blown away from this!

L - pours a deep dark mango juice. Reddish sunset orange. Looks ripe! Minimal head that quickly settles, leaving a swirling lace galaxy behind.
S - oh man this is just bursting with tropical fruit aromas. Loads of mango and zesty orange. Fruit salad. Hints of grape and crackery malt when all is said and done.
T - bright peach and banana. Where the nose is ripe, the flavor is a bit more green, but a sweet green, kinda like how onions can be sweet and herbaceous. But not a whole lot of onions here though. Just the sensation. Cane sugar and mild honey. Orange drop candy. Finishes grassy, dry, and bitter. As it warms, I'm starting to get a lot more sweetness and stickiness. There's that booze!
F - feels... fuzzy. Like "haven't brushed my teeth in a few days" fuzzy.
O - the nose promises a lot, but the taste underdelivers somewhat. It's a delicious beer, but the flavor is fleeting. Overall solid and irresponsibly drinkable for this ABV.

Pours an extremely hazy, vibrant orange with a finger of somewhat soupy off-white head. The head doesn't last that long, but leaves relatively thick, webbed lacing.
Delicious aroma of orange juice, weedy dankness, pine boughs and white pepper.
The taste isn't quite as powerful, but still largely follows the nose. Big orange juice, pine needles, a splash of pineapple, an herbal note and a slight malty nuttiness. There's a kiss of alcohol as well. Very low bitterness.
Medium to thick bodied, with some real creaminess to the feel, and a great fizzy carbonation cutting through.
This is really tasty. Some pithy bitterness on the backend would have made it world-class to my taste, but it remains an excellent juice bomb as is.
