This beer pours a very cloudy light yellow color that reminds me of white grapefruit juice. The head is one finger, fluffy and bright white. Retention and lacing are both minimal.
The honey is apparent in the smell. It is raw, citrusy and herbal. There is a hint of sweetness too. The citrus hops are very noticeable too. Grapefruit, citrus pith, tangerine, mango and pineapple all really jump out of the glass.
Taste is the same. The fruity hops are the star of the show, but they are kept in check by the herbalness from the honey and the slightest bit of sweetness. The flavors compliment each other fantastically.
Feel is light side of medium, smooth and creamy. The hop oils cling to the palate after the sip is finished.
Overall this is a very good beer. I love the original Cream Get the Honey, and this is an imperial version with my favorite hops (citra), so I knew it would be quite enjoyable.
