This was the first of many Mmm's that Other Half released and although I couldn't get my hands on all of them, I thought that this would be a good one to start with because it had the flavors that I've become more accustomed to seeing in their beers. Yes, this was typical to some extent but it was true to form and easy to drink - without anything overly strong or noticeable...
The hue to this was golden, radiant, and somewhat hazy without any perceptible head or lacing to be seen. Thin in consistency, there wasn't a lot of yeast in the nose as it was tart and juicy at the same time. All three flavors in this beer's title were found in the aroma along with some tart raspberry and acetate, as the taste was full of fruit and esters. Not overly acidic or tangy, it was smooth enough to be accessible without being weak or watered-down, as the carbonation kept things lively throughout.
Hardly any booze was in this as it would have been easy to down a four-pack of it (had the other three been available here). Beer's like this won't win any awards but they're a welcome change from the heavier fare that makes up a majority of releases and like any good brew, this had me wanting more - in the series. Lovely stuff for any time of the year, even now when summer is just a distant memory...
