Oh… That’s Trill India Pale Ale (7.5%) brewed with our good friends Trillium Brewing. This IPA is hopped with the perfect of amount of Galaxy and Sabro (previously HBC 438) upon a nice malt bill of 2-Row, pale malt, oats, biscuit and honey malt.

Other Half and Trillium - what's not to like, here? Yes, this beer was old as it had a canning date of 6/19/18 with "SIP SLOW" written below it That's exactly what I did with this brew as it was a slow sipper with a lot of depth and heft to it. Thankfully, the latter was in the form of booze as it was easily enjoyable as it warmed up sip after sip...
Good pour to this as the golden liquid was cloudy, muted, and topped off with a complementary head. Lots of and lots of lacing was left behind as the extensive, soapy layers near the top turned into thicker rings from the middle on down. Overripe tropical fruits, pineapple, deep citrus, and oats were on the nose as the taste got much more funkier and stickier than the nose indicated. Honey, cream, scallion spice, and biscuit body gave this a full and wonderful taste and body that quietly sneaked up on me out of nowhere. An underlying slickness and lively carbonation kept this from feeling too weighted down as the last sip was quiet different from the first!
Enough booze was in this but with so much else going on, only the warming effect from it could be felt. It's not often that I have a beer that's this complex and deep while being easily accessible but if anyone could pull this off, it would be Trillium and Other Half. For the love of God, please get together again and do something else on this level!

L - dark, vibrant, glowing ball of murky orange. That is some milkshakey looking shit right there. Satisfying-looking head; creamy and felty.
S - deep, ripe, sweaty, tropical fruits. Banana, mango, honey, Graham crackers. A bit of booze shines through.
T - zesty and tangy. Spiced orange rind, lime peel, and pithy mango juice. Every juice flavor has a sharpness to it. A touch herbal, a tad acidic, a bit boozey. Pineapple strawberry smoothie peppered with anise. There's a sweetness about it, toasted marshmallow or flavored honey.
F - oh... man. The cream. Pure velvet. Viscous without the cloy and still drinkable. Electric silk.
O - this is just a thick, juicy (don't shoot me), zesty concoction. Very enjoyable. Trillium has that taste and OH has that feel. Always love their collabs.

Really hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma has really sweet and juicy fruit notes with bubblegum, ripe melon and apricot notes. Taste follows sweet and juicy with milky notes, like a fruit milk shake. Full bodied with medium carbonation. A really nice hop profile with milky fruit shake notes.

Oh...that’s Trill - Other Half feat. Trillium
IPA - 7.5% abv
Canned 6/19/18 (19 days ago)
L - 2-finger dense white head atop a murky orange body.
S - candied oranges, licorice?, pancakes, cream cheese. Unusual.
T - imagine an orange starburst, that is deep-fried and topped with a dollop of spray cheese. That’s what I’m getting here. The cheese isn’t super-pungent but it’s present. A bit of licorice on the taste too. A bit of dankness and pine. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body with slightly above average carb.
O - very strange ipa. If I tasted this blind I doubt I would name OH or Trillium as being involved in its creation.
