Bought this before I went away for the summer, finally getting around to it on this muggy and lazy Sunday. Love both of the brewers that were involved in this and even though I don't hype Other Half often, given that I'm there nearly every week, this was one of their strongest offerings that I've had in quite some time! Sure, this beer was potent but it went down so easily and the flavor profile was enjoyable enough to easily fall in love with...
Lovely hue to this as this beer was milk chocolate in appearance with a good mocha head to it that offset the darker and heaver fluid below it. Lots of lacing left behind on the inside of my Teku glass as I sipped this with care. No doubt that this beer was potent but the coconut and macadamia nut were enough to take the edge off it. Rich, smooth, and full of nutty chocolate, the feel to this was wonderful as it smoothly slid down. Not a lot of carbonation to this as the flavors were allowed shine, meld, and linger for the duration...
Sure, this was quite strong but never did I feel that this had a lot of alcohol to it. I couldn't taste it and it was only a complementary factor to everything else involved here. A mild creaminess, and tropical nut undertone set the stage for what was an intriguing and ultimately, very enjoyable brew. Nice job all-around with this one although it was enough to finish me off for my session!

Better as it cooled off a bit
