This was yet another dual hop beer from Other Half that I took a while to get around to but figured was worth the wait like most of the others were! Still not sure why Citra seems to be part of so many of these, but it might be because of how slick and tasty it is. The Medusa was quite different as this had a drier and chalkier feel to it although it was still enjoyable and held up well after all of this time!
Canned on 7/12/18 with nothing written below it, this had a nice pour with the liquid being a uniformly hazy goldenrod with a worthy head topping it off. Plenty of spotted, extensive lacing remained as I worked my way through this as it looked like it was applied by a paintbrush. White wine, white grape, dry cheese, and ripe citrus and tropical fruit were found in the nose as it was varied but not strong in any particular aspect. The taste correlated with the aroma as this had a bit of an exotic feel to it, to go along with a sticky mouthfeel and slightly nectarine aftertaste.
The alcohol was well-hidden and the carbonation was hardly anywhere to be seen - er, detected. Plenty of body to this one but this never felt too filling as this could have been a bit more juicy to the taste. Not a bad beer and the lack of sediment was a testament to how well this held up. Just need to have more brews with Medusa in them!
