I wasn't around when this was released but somehow, I ended up with this as I think that someone held onto this for me while I was away that summer. This wasn't like anything else that I ever had from Other Half, which was saying a lot given that I've reviewed nearly 300 beers from them. If you're into something sweet, juicy, and natural, then this would be a grew brew to grab from a place that can tackle nearly any style that they attempt to make!
Not a bad pour to this as the honey-hued liquid was nearly clear and quite bright. Very little head topped it off and only a few bubbles remained on the side of my pint glass after each sip, before they quickly slid down. Lots of dragon fruit and guava in the nose as it was quite exotic and unlike anything I've had as of late. Tart and sweet, it was hard to pick out the vanilla and lactose as the sweetness was more fruit-based than anything else. Lightly tart and hardly carbonated, this went down easily and had just enough body to it to not feel like a one-trick pony.
Hardly any booze in this either as this quite didn't feel like beer, even though it certainly fit that bill. No date was on the bottom of this can but this wasn't new and there was just a tiny bit of sediment that swirled back into the liquid during every sip. This would be great in the summer but for now, it was a welcome respite from Other Half's usual fare!

Appearance: Pours relatively clear and the color of pink lemonade and is capped by a pinkish head of foam; splashy lacing
Smell: Dragon fruit and guava with tart phenols wafting and a hint of vanilla
Taste: Tart tones of dragon fruit and guava forward, with a modestly bitter middle; the finish is tart, fruity, slightly bitter and slightly sweet, from the lactose and vanilla
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: I pleasant, refreshing tart IPA with interesting adjuncts
Thanks, thirsty4beer, for the opportunity
