All Nelson Everything Imperial IPA we have the pleasure of working direct with a new hop farm in NZ (in 2018) and because of this we have better access to awesome hops like Nelson Sauvin than we ever have before. This allows us to make All Nelson Everything.

Cloudy yellow. Medium-sized, white head. Tropical fruits , melon , citrus and flowers in the aroma. Medium bitterness in taste. Juicy and soft. Good as usual.

Gifted a can OHFLX brewery, and popped beer@ 2 months out /100% Frig’d. Poured into OH snifter; Huge plumy soft white head with somewhat murky slightly dull hazy yellow. Excellent lacing and residual halo.
Nice Nelson nose and more full Nelson taste. Nothing too green. Wine, slight herbal/straw, dank, some pineapple.
Body is full and creamy with mildly bright carb on backend. Super smooth yet still refreshing.
I’m a Nelson fan and a bit biased, but think this FLX 2023 version is a great brew. Much enjoyed.

Pours ultra hazy, pale gold in color with one inch head. Taste is big white wine/grape with light lemon. Medium heavy body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Excellent dipa that is a great showcase for the hop. Really enjoyable beer.

Pours a golden yellow with very nice white head retention. White grape and kind of a Tropicana sour orange on the nose, herbaceous too. White grape up front that gives way to that PepsiCo factory OJ that's coupled with an herbaceous note in the form of a black pepper, betal leaf character. It's super soft, so very different from the OG Other Half DIPAs I had back in the day. I think if this leaned further into that aggressive hop character, the herbaceous wouldn't be as bothersome or feel a little out of place. A solid DIPA.

Canned 2/21/22. Let sit out for 5 minutes before opening.
Hazy yellow, with one finger of ivory head, that leaves some spotty lacing.
Smell is kiwi, slightly spicy and woody? white grape , pineapple, and a bit of galia melon.
Taste is pineapple, kiwi, and sweet(ish) grapefruit, with white grape and a hint of green onion on the aftertaste. Light bitterness.
Feel is medium, juicy, with moderate fine carbonation tingle. Slight drying effect at finish, and after. A little chalkiness can be detected in the aftertaste, as it warms. An effect of age?
Overall, enjoyable. I'd like to try it fresher, but it is good , even at nine weeks old.

Nelson, Nelson, and more Nelson. If you don’t like Nelson hops, this isn’t the beer for you. The whole beer is white wine/grape juice pungent aroma and taste. Beautiful light color. More bitterness than the usual New England IPA. I love Nelson so big score.

Can from the NZ Hop Week box. Pours a hazy pale yellow gold with a finger of rocky white head that sticks around, nice lacing, smell is big dank citrusy gooseberry, tomatillo, white grape must, zest orange creamsicle, frozen orange juice concentrate, hints of yellow cake, taste follows the nose with citrusy gooseberry, tomatillo, white grape skin, orange zest, hint of yellow cake, feel is medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry. An excellent showcase of Nelson, citrusy sweet gooseberry goodness.

Palate Contaminants: none
Lots of very fine white head, leaving plenty of lacing. Light straw color, and it's totally opaque.
The scent isn't particularly complex. The malt and hops combine to give off the most pleasant pineapple. It doesn't lean toward sap or sugar too much, it's just right.
The taste has a little citrus, but it's lacking acidity to really have that be the first thing. That said, there is fruit that I'm really struggling to put words to. Papaya, maybe? Banana, sorta. It's really gentle. Bitterness is light-moderate, and it plays really well with the vegetative/grassy hoppiness and other flavors.
Very nice heavy-moderate weight for the type. The aftertaste is sweet grass and a touch of bitterness. Alcohol is detectable. Very well integrated carbonation.
