This was another beer from Other Half that I bought and took a while to get around to. Love the Mandarina in this beer but it didn't quite seem to mesh well with the Mosaic. The end result was a beer that was strong, juicy, and varied quite a bit from my initial whiff to the final sip.
Canned on 10/8/18 with "IT'S COOL MAN" written underneath that, this poured like orange juice as it had a uniform look to it with a slowly rising and settling head topping it off. Loads of thick rings were left behind as I sipped this as the lacing was quite extensive. Lots of dank melon, juicy orange, and orange cream in the nose as the taste was quite heavy up-front. The taste was somewhat exotic with kiwi, floral, and turbid tropical notes kicking in as the back was quite slick and juicy. Hard to pick out any particular attributes when it came to the malt as this was a juice bomb without being overdone or one-dimensional...
Enough booze was in here but I only felt a little bit of warming by the time I finished this off. No sediment was at the bottom of the liquid as the aftertaste leaned strongly in the direction of the Mandarina. It's nice hop and I wish that Other Half would feature it in more of their upcoming releases!

Appearance: Arrives cloudy and orange colored with an impressive head that leaves the glass with sheets of lacing
Smell: Mandarin orange, mango and kiwi tones
Taste: Taste follows aroma with the Mandarin orange dominating from start to finish; mango and kiwi flavors add complexity; low bitterness and a juicy finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate, but crisp, carbonation
Overall: Refreshing and juicy; my favorite brew from a recent visit to Other Half

On tap at Dive Bar, NYC.
Pours a beautiful looking hazy orange color with a fluffy thumb length cream head.bhead dissipates and yields saucer like rings of lacing.
The nose emits an inviting aroma of freshly squeezed orange juice and grapefruit pulp. I also detect a combination of tropical and stone fruit, including, peach and mango. I also pick up blueberries, a bit of herbal dank, and a hint of honey and bready malt.
The first sip is juicy and sweet, combining a burst of citrus, tropical and stone fruit flavors. Flavors include orange, grapefruit, mango, peach, berries, nectarine, pineapple and apricot. Although the bitterness is low and subtle- I’m picking it up a bit in the finish- the middle palate balances out the juicyness with piny and spicy hops flavors. The earthy and juicy hops flavors dominate the palate, pushing the bready malt backbone to the background.
Medium bodied with a moderate to gentle carbonation. Although juicy, it is not so frothy, instead, it has a nice drinkable crispness to it.
One of the better Other Half brews I’ve had in a while. Somewhere on the BEIPA spectrum, it nevertheless has a nice crispness and earthyness to it that balances out the fruity flavors. Excellent overall.

Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a half inch white head that left great lacing. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits with a bit of earth. Tastes of orange, orange peel, mango, pineapple, peach, pine and grass. Medium to full bodied, light carbonation, creamy mouth feel and minimal bitterness.

Good head production, with a simple pour resulting in an easy 2 fingers of snow white head. Retention is good, and lacing is fantastic. Body is a pulpy light lemony yellow-orange, completely opaque and lively.
Mandarin orange, ruby red grapefruit, lemon, mango, and pineapple dominate the nose. Only very slightly herbal. Somewhat subdued.
Incredibly juicy on the palate, like biting into a peach-mango-orange-pineapple hybrid! Moderately strong dank tones emerge on the second half. Other notes include grass, cream, and light, bright herbs.
Nearly thick, smooth, juicy, and lively on the palate.

L - 1-finger offwhite head atop a murky yellow body.
S - grapefruit, pine, herb, earth.
T - citrus at first, then tons of earthy and floral hops. Moderate-low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - the Mandarina hops crush the Mosaic on this one. I get very little Mosaic taste. Much more earthy and floral. I’m enjoying it, but not at all what I was expecting.
