Poured from the can into a Siegelau IPA glass.
Opaque, and somewhat turbid body, of muted lemon and hints of light brown. Head creation is stellar. This literally looks nitrous, with super small fine bubbles all throughout the pour, creating a massive four finger controlled head with classic IPA clumping and lacing. Real impressive looking brew.
Stellar nose even more so. Ripping grapefruit on the aroma, with large tropical mango, thick and fruit, with a good spicy herbal tone to mix it up even more so. Lots of citrus like pith coming off the beer but in a good way, zesty citrus oils as well. Real blasting hop pleasure.
Palate just sings. Creamy full rich body, with lush interior mouthfeel that coats everywhere and is practically stout like silky. Rich hop mid palate bursting with rich touches of mint and orange bitterness and light sweet quality. Light faint icing sugar, with big oily citrus bitterness and rind rich skin fruit flavors. Green grass and herbal mint sweetness hit nicely for a great aftertaste.
Excellent ripping IPA.

Picked this up a while ago at Other Half and once again, took a while to get around to it in my queue. No, this wasn't new but it still had a heavy, vegetable feel to it as it wasn't the smoothest of sippers. It wasn't bad as much as it took me a while to warm up to it, even after it warmed up...
This had a hazy, melon hue to it with a bit of dark sediment floating in it. Not a big head as it quickly settled and most of the lacing was in the form of a double ring near the top of my pint glass. Dank hops, onions, earthy vegetables, and odd floral notes in the nose as the taste was a bit more juicier. Overripe citrus fruits entered the mix with some scallions and cream in the mix as well. Very unusual flavor profile for this beer but somehow, this worked out in the end. The malt was basic and the carbonation could have been a bit more pronounced to scrape away the celery and cabbage that lingered...
Plenty of booze in this one although it wasn't a deterrent from everything else that was going on. This had the trademark feel of an Other Half beer but was just short of what I expected from it. It was a fun diversion but probably not the brew that I'd use to introduce someone to these guys. Glad I had it once...

Can to tulip glass. Very fresh, 5 days after brewery release.
LOOK: Hazy yellow, creamy white head. Legs. Looks like an other half IPA.
AROMA: Light Citrus, light floral notes. Nothing too strong, but very nice. More Earthier than hoppy for a DDH IPA.
TASTE: Cantaloupe and guava jump out first. Grass, citrus are there, but minor. Kind of a perfume like finish (probably vic secret and probably what I identified as floral in nose), but it is not a bad thing at all.
FEEL: Pretty smooth.
Missing a little something; but tastier than the DDH Cheddar I just had before this.

Pours a great looking hazy orange color. Nose has tons of tropical fruits, fruity malts, citrus, and pine. Taste is a tiny bit bitter. Medium body and pretty easy to drink.
Overall another great IPA from OH.

L - pours a milky orangey yellow. Haze, of course. Did you expect anything less?
S - quite the aroma. Fresh rain after a storm. Sweaty, gym locker room. Dank, to say the least. Banana far past its prime. Hot, sticky mango. Carmelized onions.
T - the ripeness continues. Buttery, tropical candied papaya with stanky cheese dankness. This is what I expected out of Cheddar. Fruit tart with vanilla mascarpone cream. Getting a lot of that classic cream cheese dipping sauce for those fruit spreads.
F - full like cake batter. Rich and velvety with that classic manufactured OH carbonation (whomp), but it's tame and hardly noticeable. All in all not half bad.
O - this is a weird one. I like weird. Tip toes the oxidation line with all that stank-ass diacetyl..ness, but I can dig it. If you like ripe fruit, this will be your jam (lol).

Pours a hazy golden color, big foamy white head that lingers. Citrus and grassy aroma, earthy, lemons and oranges come to mind. Very unique flavor. Like a dank orange creamsicle. Other odd flavors include pungent Brie rind, dank wet leaves, lemon rind, grapefruit pith. As odd as these flavors are, I really, really like this beer. Medium bodied, touch of sweetness, not boozy, carbonation creates a creamy mouthfeel. Definitely would drink again.
