Float on a cloud of Mosaic, Citra, Idaho 7 and Mosaic Cryo. Copious oats and a hint of lactose make a very smooth IPA.

Pours a hazy yellow with a slight orange tint, ample foamy head. Big dank aroma with citrus undercurrents. Flavor is dank guava, tropical mango, light pineapple, light citrus. Very creamy texture. Overall a very enjoyable oat cream IPA.

If there was ever a beer from Other Half that checked off all the proverbial boxes and was a template or basis for much of their brews that I love, this might have been that offering. Canned on 4/25/19 with "MCDOUBLE AND A DREAM" written underneath it, this was smooth, full-bodied, and has enough hops to keep things interesting without breaking any new ground or standing out in any particular way to me!
Of course, the pour to this was golden, muddled, and uniform in hue. Not a lot of head topped it off and the lacing that was left behind was mostly off-center down the side of my pint glass, in the form of a few thick, interconnecting, and wavy rings. Oats, cream, deep floral notes, dry lime, and some turbid tropical fruit in the nose as the taste contained hints of Hawaiian Punch from the Idaho 7 and grassy urine from the Mosaic. Thankfully, those weren't too sharp as this was nice and smooth from the Citra and lactose as there was an underlying creamy tangerine that left a slight tingle on the palate once this fully went down.
Not a lot of booze here and the same could be said for the carbonation as well. This had a nice range of flavors to it that melded well together as this quietly went down. Not among Other Half's best but this would be a good introduction to the style for those unaccustomed to it. No need to hit the lottery in order to win with this one!

A: Mellow mustard and a dirty white head. Sea foam lacing.
S: Fresh orange, tangerine, kiwi, spicy and dank, floral herb. Nose really opens as it warms as I get a sweeter honey-lime.
M: Med body, dough and chewy feel. Not
T: Tropical and citrus but not altogether sweet. Some yellow skinned fruit, Buddha's hand, and papaya. Develops lime-honey stick flavor while the overall effect remains herbaceous and green with a hint of mint keeps sweetness tamed. Doesn't have the overt 'oatiness' like some of their other beers which is refreshing.

Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey colored with a one finger cap; spotty lacing
Smell: Papaya and pomelo with a hint of lime; the lactose is also apparent
Taste: Papaya forward with some lactose blended in; through the middle, there is some stark pomelo with a hint of lime adding a twinge of bitterness; the finish is a blend of the elements
Mouthfeel: Creamy; medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Relatively simple on the flavor front but enjoyable as are all of Other Half's offerings
Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity
