This was another beer from Other Half that I bought a while ago and took a long time to get around to. Any of the Daydream offerings from Other Half tend to be pretty smooth and on the mark and that was the case with this one, as well. Nothing about this stood out or made it stand out from other brews with similar names from these guys but in the end, this was tough to keep in my pint glass for my session!
Canned on 12/27/18, this poured a nice, hazy peach hue to it with enough head topping it off. Not much lacing left behind as a few spotty semblances of rings lingered as I worked my way through this. Cream, grass, weed, and some herbal notes were in the soft nose as the taste was much more deep and varied. Earthy vegetables, tangerine, and ripe tropical fruits rounded out this very odd and full flavor profile but the sweetness kept everything in check as both the body and overall impression on my palate were balanced. Neither light nor heavy worked for me!
A sufficient amount of booze was in this but I only felt it at the end as it went well with the lime and wet dew that lingered once this fully went down. While this didn't break any new ground, I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind having another one. The oats gave me enough to chew on along with attempting to figure this out - down to the artsy label...

L - 2-finger, dense bright white head atop a murky, opaque yellow body.
S - grapefruit, herb, vegetal, cotton candy.
T - vegetal hops lead the way (potato, cabbage, carrot), followed by sweet orange, dank, earth, lime, milk sugar, anise, spicy cilantro? Very unusual taste. Reminds me of the Pho I ate a few days ago. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - vegetal and spicy hops are not something I enjoy, so this one is tough for me to truly appreciate. It’s different at least!
