Once again, this was a beer from Other Half that I took a while to get around to although it was worth it on a rainy night like tonight! Dated 1/2/19 with "FORGET THE PAST" written underneath that, this beer was good enough to make me do that. Soft, juicy, and just a bit dank, this went down easily and had a nice array of fruit flavors to it!
Like many of their other beers, this had a hazy, golden hue to it with a moderate head topping it off. The hue was nearly uniform and the lacing left behind was quite layered and extensive. Sharp citrus, melon, earthy funk and feet were in the nose as the taste went from juicy to tangy to ripe in each sip. Some urine and outdoorsy dankness could be felt as this warmed up but overall, this was addicting and very slick on the palate as there wasn't a lot of carbonation to lighten things up.
Enough booze was in this but I never tasted it and could only feel a bit before I finished it off. Beers like this from Other Half aren't that complex but every combination has a different result that keeps me coming back for me. While this certainly wouldn't be for everyone, those who love juice bombs and the hops that were in this would be pleased, down to the last drop!

L - massive, dense offwhite head atop s murky yellow body.
S - grapefruit, pine, cotton candy.
T - citrus that was pissed on by a cat. Yet, I like it. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - I don’t generally like Nelson, but here it works.

Over rated from a great brewery. Starts out tasty and hits with a nasty Mellon flavor. Definitely not citrus flavored or fresh tasting. Not my type of flavor.

Pours an opaque, creamy bright gold color with a one finger dense velvety ivory head that leaves ring lacing. Very nice!
The aroma is a dichotomy of sharp citrus notes and maybe some peach but also a butteriness that is unexpected. Very interesting.
The flavor has a citrus punch up front that quickly turns into an intense, sweeter melon/orange melange (I think the butteriness I smelled). This is a really interesting combination that should be tried out if you're on the fence. It could come across as a bit too fruit-sweet to some though. The finish is a fade of the melon-orange, fairly pleasant on the sides of the tongue.
The feel is thick and smoothie like, so very soft, light to moderately bitter and the right touch of seltzer to give it some interest.
This is a really fantastic play of flavors that deserves some accolades. It may not be for everyone's preferences but worth it if you like a super-soft juice bomb style NEIPA.
