This was one of the other Half Beers that I skipped over while going through my stash in chronological order. Canned on 1/4/19, this held up well over the last year as it was the third iteration of the Daydream Layers beers that I was able to get my hands on. While it wasn't as good as the other iterations, I did enjoy this and how smooth it was down to the last sip...
Not a bad pour to this as the liquid was peach, muted, and nearly uniform in hue. Enough head topped it off as the lacing left behind was webbed, soapy, and nicely layered. Lots of feet, funky hops, and white wine in the nose as the taste had some white grape, citrus juice, lime, white chocolate, and an outdoorsy feel to it. Hints of tangerine, cream, and lactose kept this light and sweet although more of a slick mouthfeel and a sweeter aftertaste might have elevated this up a couple of notches. The malt was basic and recessed as the carbonation was present, but hardly noticeable...
Not a ton of booze here and what was present complemented the hops and flavors nicely. This was a sufficient beer that would please anyone who loves the Daydream offerings from Other Half but this didn't break any new ground or impress me in any way. Worth a go once to kick back with!
