While I'm not the biggest proponent of beers with Enigma in them, I had to give this one a go because it was from Other Half and it was a Daydream offering. Sure enough, this was soft, pillowy, and easy to quaff but not as deep as I would have liked. Far from being a disappointment, the only flaw with this was that it was just a bit too one-dimensional for me...
Muted, golden, and subtly radiant, this had a nice look to it although it wasn't anything outstanding in any aspect. Plenty of brightness was present in this as the head balanced out the liquid nicely as the lacing left behind was webbed and thick at the top with several splotchy segments bleeding down from the ring that lingered near the top of my pint glass. Lots of tropical fruit, understated mint, muddled wheat, and soft creaminess in the nose as the taste was much more vegetal, green, and funky than the aroma would have led me to believe. The impression I got from this beer was that of fresh-cut grass with a bit of dewy hops thrown into the mix as there was bit of white chocolate sweetness and dankness that lingered past my last sip.
There was enough booze to this but not enough to serve as a distraction from everything else that was going on here. Yes, this was a bit too one-dimensional but at the same time, this was on par with Other Half's Daydream beers and easily worth seeking out. If you like your beers to be full of orange juice, earthy hops, underlying cream, and tangy dankness, then you've found your match here. Enigma lovers would be wise to seek this brew out!

Really showcases the enigma hop impressively.

an absolutely gorgeous looking glass of haze, dense and creamy bright white head decorates the glass. cool example of how a beer can be 'green' in a good way. plenty of grapefruit peel, hints of pulpy OJ, pine needles, dankness, earthy and herbaceous. there is some almost caramel like malt sweetness and a soft breadyness throughout. very enjoyable!
