Flavor: Flavors of orange, grapefruit, white grape with his zesty, pineapple and orange juice flavor underneath. Dry finish. (4.00)
Feel: Medium body, appropriate, carbonation, and finishes, zesty, clean, dry. (4.00)
Compared to Toppling Goliath Fire, Skulls, & Money 3/26: Pours lighter, similar head. Milder aromas. More zesty grapefruit, pineapple. OJ. Less white grape, tropical berries. Winner: Toppling Goliath.
to Phase Three Soft Skies 3/26: Pours lighter, milder aromas. Less pear, lime, berries. More grapefruit, OJ. Winner: Phase Three

Overall: Other Half Bagel and Schmear. My first try at this. Drinks with grapefruit and pineapple zest. Still some tropical grape and OJ to balance. The El Dorado adds some pineapple and cocktail flavor. Excellent showcase of Citra and Nelson. (Rating: 4.13)

Bagel & Schmear pours hazy--very hazy--with orange-yellow hue and a solid one-finger white head. The nose is hints at orange juice and definitely pineapple. Billed as a NEIPA, there are certainly tropical fruit flavors like mango present, but the finish turns pleasantly dry and bitter delivering pine and grapefruit. Really nice evolution of tastes. OH!

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super hazed yellow- orange color with a two-finger head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving just a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of an orange juice and tropical fruit smell of pineapple and guava. Along with these aromas comes some smells of lychee and gooseberry. Some hop smells of a grapefruit and pine nature are there as well, and with a touch of pepper and must, a rather inviting aroma is produced overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather big bready and doughy flavor mixed with tropical fruits of pineapple and tangerine, as well as some lighter lychee and gooseberry flavors. There is a moderate showing of herbal hop and a bit of grapefruit upfront, with the former gaining more and more strength as the taste advances. As the taste advances, the tropical fruits fade a bit, but are replaced by some tastes of more lychee and gooseberry, as well as a bit of floral hop. At the end a mustiness settles in as well, and with the mix of flavor transitions, one is left with a thick and moderately dank hopped-up taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and more chewy, while the carbonation level is on the slightly lower side. For the style and the tastes the feel is pretty good, allowing the mix of flavors to shine and making for a slower sipper.
Overall - A pretty decent and moderately dank hazy. Would have this one again.

Milky goldenrod with a high water mark of white lace; dried pineapple, sage, hint of dank + lemon jelly slices on the nose; dried mango, salted grapefruit, yellow Pixie sticks, peaches, underripe gooseberries, some sweat to end; bitter, salty, smooth.

Citra, El Dorado, Nelson Sauvin
Sept 21 canning date - 6 and a half weeks old.
The hops take turns: El D candy flirts up front, Citra comes in with both big citrus + bold tropical (plus a whiff of cat) then Nelson plays the villain with diesel + rotting melon.
Interestingly, this has lost half a step even in the last 10 days - some Bubblicious fruit has given way to harsher bitterness, stronger dank notes, along with more booze + salt.
Never thought the food series is OH’s best work, but this is an interesting trio of hops + about as much flavor as you can fit into a single IPA.
Solid OH offering getting rougher towards the end of its shelf life, but that’s still better than most breweries on their best day.
