Collaboration with Homage Brewing
The awesome and talented crew from Homage came to NYC for a visit and we whipped up this DIPA with Galaxy, our hand selected Simcoe, and Simcoe Cryo. We brewed it with Maris Otter, Oats, and a hint of honey malt.

Bought this a while ago and like everything else in my stash from Other Half, I took a while to get around to this one. Yes, it was full and balanced as it somehow hit all the right notes although this didn't break any new ground or wow me in any way. Fans of either brewery won't be disappointed with this although one could argue that the label was this beer's best attribute!
The pour was nice to this with a solid, hazy honey hue and moderate head topping it off. Surprisingly, there wasn't any lacing left behind, which was not what I expected for a beer with a full body. Lots of oats and honey in the taste along with some mild funky hops and weed underneath that. Those were a bit more pronounced in the taste along with a subtle hop burn, tangy grapefruit, and a chewy undertone from the oats. Full and full-bodied, the taste was mellow and enjoyable with just the right amount of carbonation on the palate..
The same could be said for the alcohol as it was present throughout but never too much to handle. Only a tad of sediment was at the bottom of the liquid as I finished as this seemed like a light version of the Oat Overdose that I love so dearly. Nothing was stamped on the bottom of the can as this year-old brew held up well in my basement and although this wasn't a fully typical or impressive New England IPA, I enjoyed it as something to kick back with on this chilly night!

L - 1.5 finger dense yellowish head atop a murky orange body.
S - tangerine for days! Honey, pineapple, melon.
T - follows the nose almost exactly. A little sweet and very tropical. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium-full body with appropriate carb.
O - a tad too sweet, but really digging these hops.

16 oz can traded from alexsergio dated 1/21/19. Poured into North Coast Nonic Pint.
Hazy creamy orange juice color with a white cap of 2 fingers, receding to 1/2 finger with lots of lace.
Pineapple juice, orange sherbet, and mimosa on the nose. Just absolutely heavenly.
Flavors are a tad more bitter on the palate with some sharp pine and grass, pineapple, orange juice, mineral, and slight lime.
The feel is a bit empty with a blast of water and then slight acidity and some moderate carbonation.
Overall this is another killer beer that doesn't quite live up to the Daydream series, but is still fabulous regardless. I think with a thicker, creamier mouthfeel this beer would be much more amazing.

Soft and smooth NE fruit smoothie delight - typical juice-like color with a white foam cap... Sweet and juicy with orchard and tropical undertones and mild tang of citrus mashed in... Fuzzy and pillowy soft - a real delight... 1/26/19 canning...
